Hello! Before we get into the story I'm just gonna tell you that I did make this a long time ago when I first got into RWBY and I thought I would remake it now to see how far my writing skills have come, so enjoy!
Weiss walked out of the schools front doors, a loud thud followed as the door slammed shut behind her. A small whisper was all she heard before she looked around frantically, before she smelt the string of gun powder in her nose.
To the right, there was a small figured covered by a red torn up cape on the ground, shadowed by a figure of a women, the glow of one amber eye, the figure ran off. Weiss went to follow the figure, but stopped upon hearing a small whimper come from the figure who was laying down, she gritted her teeth as she let the enemy get away, she checked on the fallen classmate. As she got closer to the body, small rain drops started to fall. She got closer to the figure she could make out a bit more of who it was, seeing who it was she quickly brought her hand up to her mouth and covered it to stop herself from wailing. "R-Ruby.."Was all she could muster out as her voice started to break, everything inside her started to break.
Weiss got closer and dropped to her knees, her white skirt getting covered in the red wine coloured blood, the smell of gun powder was surrounding Ruby. Weiss tears got more warm and blurred her vision as she tried to find the wound that was clearly bleeding, until she felt the warm, wetness of ruby's clothes near her stomach, she stopped her hand there and whimpered "R-Ruby you are going to be okay I promise.." she tried to apply pressure but that just gained her a whine from Ruby.
Ruby's body got heavier in Weiss's lap, her eyes slowly closed as she whispered softly "I..love you Weiss" with the last breath she tried to reach for Weiss's face, but barely got her hand up, Weiss grabbed it and placed it on her cheek "I love you too Ruby... please don't leave me yet" She whined and sniffed. But the small body just went limp, her hand gaining weight it slipped and fell onto Ruby's chest.
Weiss cried out.
