Fairytail Origins AU

His other side...

Third person POV:

Colin was lying down on his bed read some of his favourite mangas when suddenly he heard a knock on his door. 

"The door is unlocked" Colin replied. "You can come in."

The door creaked open and in came a girl with violet hair. She turned to Colin and smiled. 

"Hey Colin!" Lily said beaming.

"Oh hey Lily what are you doing here?" Colin asked still reading his manga.

"Well I just came to stop by and give you your homework you forgot to take down" Lily replied.

"Thanks" 

"No problem. Want me to leave it on the table?"

"Yeah sure."

Lily placed the his homework on a small marble table then glanced over at Colin who was engrossed in his manga. She walked over to Colin and sat there staring at him. Colin, oblivious to the fact that she was staring at him continued to read his manga in total silence. Lily can tell he was very intrigued by it and really enjoyed reading it. She continued to stare at him in total silence. She took notice of every small little detail. The way he had a cute little giggle on what she assumed were the funny parts he was reading.  He seemed way more relaxed when he was or thought he was alone. While Lily was observing him she noticed that he seemed like a different person. Whenever he was out in public or around other people he seemed so serious and edgy but alone was a whole other story. She saw Colin give a little grin. She felt her cheeks flush bright red. She couldn't explain it. Something about him was different from the others. Something made her feel different towards him, but she could not place her finger on it. Colin yawned as he placed his book aside. He then noticed a pair of lavender eyes staring at him. He then jumped out of his bed shocked. Lily sat there a little frightened by his reaction.

"L-Lily!?!? I thought you left. How long were you there?" Colin asked shocked.

"Um... long enough to see you finish the book...?" Lily replied sheepishly.

"O-oh..."

"Though watching you read that manga was quite entertaining."

"What do you mean?"

"The way you kept giggling when you read the funny bits" Lily snickered. Colin flushed beet red out of embarrassment.

"This stays between us okay?" Colin muttered.

"Of course" Lily replied.

"By the way why were you staring at me?" Colin asked. "I mean it is kind of creepy,"

"I uh... um. Yeah uh..."

Colin stared at her confused. He then unconsciously walked closer to her. In the blink of an eye his face was just a few centimetres away from hers. Lily started blushing madly.

"So what were you doing Lily?" Colin asked in a monotone voice touching her red cheek.

"I w-was curious... I w-wanted to s-see what you were reading" Lily replied sheepishly.
"Also your um.. too close."

Colin then jerked back after realising that. A small tint of red spread across his face. He then quickly apologized. Lily and Colin stared at each other in silence. There was an unknown atmosphere around them. They both felt some kind of connection but weren't sure about what kind it was. Lily then looked over at her wrist to her watch. It read 5:45 almost curfew.

"Oh God I better get back to my dorm. It's almost curfew" Lily muttered.

"Oh well I'm see you tomorrow...?" Colin replied.

"Yeah. Um I had fun today hope to hang out with you more often!" Lily replied.

"Sure."

Lily then turned towards the doorway. But then stopped. She ran towards Colin and have him a quick kiss on his cheek before running down the hallway in embarrassment. Colin stood there paralyzed after the whole event. When he snapped out of it, he slowly touched his cheek. His face flushed red.

"W-what just happened!?"
