The audience's applause was deafening, and Ella and Henry were standing on the top of a high staircase, looking down on the many citizens who attended the wedding. She wasn't sure she liked it.
She had been so sure that once she married the love of her life, she'd be content, even ecstatic with her new living situation. In all honesty, it was just tiring, and she had begun to feel a pull at her heart strings when she thought of how she'd be locked up inside the castle all her life. Ella directed her head toward her left, where she could see the faintest outline in the distance.
It was a large, elegant figure seemingly looming over the hills, taunting her, saying "you can't reach me, you can't reach me." She made a face, but covered it up because her prince had started noticing her uneasiness.
"You okay? You seem fidgety, Love."
"I'm fine, just a little tired, I decided I'd admire the view while we greeted our people this morning."
He seemed satisfied with the explanation, since he didn't question her any further. Ella looked back at the figure. She had heard so many stories about it, from dragons to wizards to pixies. The place had been abandoned ages ago, which only made her evermore curious to find out the story. She always needed the story. After all, without a story, it was just a book.
"That's where I'll go", she whispered to herself. "I need to travel to the lost Kingdom of Arias."
