Chapter 1

 Jonesy hugs onto Drift tighter, kissing him on the head multiple times."Let's go to sleep now, we're gonna need to get up early baby", Jonesy whispers to Drift. Drift wanted to ask Jonesy why, considering they don't need to get up early on weekends, but he let's out a sleepy"ok", being too tired to wanna ask why.

Tiny paws are clawing at the door waking up Jonesy. Jonesy groggily wakes up before kissing Drift's shoulder to wake him up. "Baby, your cat's letting us know it's time to get up. Drift wakes up looking at Jonesy jokingly offended. "Maggy's a kitsune Jonesy. She needs to go pee I need to take her out", Drift says before plopping on the bed again still tired. Jonesy laughs, kissing him on the shoulder again. "Ok ok I'll take her out baby, just get cleaned up we gotta get ready soon", Jonesy lets him know before getting dressed himself. Jonesy opens the door and yelps when the little fox jumps on him, "Yeah I really wish Drift trained you NOT to do that" Jonesy says as he picks up the squirmy animal. Wildcat comes up to Jonesy and takes Maggy from him."I got it Jonesy she likes me more", Wildcat says to Jonesy's relief."Cool, thanks girl I need to talk to Ramirez about something anyways."Jonesy thanks her before going to the kitchen in the lodge. 

Ramirez is waiting by the coffee maker, impatiently waiting for it to finishing pouring. She sees Jonesy coming and looks annoyed."Jonesy you know you don't talk to me BEFORE I've had my coffee right?"."Ramirez I'm just letting you know me and Drift are gonna be out this morning", Jonesy explains. "Wait where are y'all going so early, you're usually not even conscious at this hour." Ramirez asks him, tapping her finger from every second she still doesn't have coffee. Drift comes out of the room all ready and cleaned up."Yeah Jonesy why are we up so early?" Drift asks him. Jonesy pulls him over, holding him by the waist."Weeelllll, I know how much you want me to meet your family so I thought I could organize a get together in Greasy Grove", Jonesy tells him. Drift excitedly hugs Jonesy tight "Really Jonesy? That's great thank you so much for doing this!" Drift says excited before kissing Jonesy on the cheek."Yeah everyone will be there, your dad, your sister, and your brother. I even invited your brother's girlfriend, Luxe I think her name is", Jonesy says before he notices Drift's excitement change to worry,"Um what's wrong babe"?"Well um, it's nothing bad it's just...I need to warn you my older brother can be a bit.......overprotective putting it lightly", Drift explains. "Pffft, Drift he's your brother of course he's gonna be", Jonesy laughs, not getting the same reaction from Drift. Jonesy looks at Drift concerned, "I mean, isn't your dad some assassin dude anyways, pretty sure I should be more afraid of him", Jonesy says before he sits on the couch, Drift coming around to sit next to him. "Jonesy I'm serious, I'm just letting you know beforehand. I call my dad a lot and he likes what I tell him about you. But my brother, he's not so easy to really convince really", Drift explains. Jonesy puts his arm and Drift and kisses his forehead,"Come on babe I got this. Just let me worry about this, you got some friends to chill with in the meantime. Everything will be fine trust me"."If you say so", Drift says not convinced.
