Kirishima's P.O.V
I barely got any sleep last night. Most of the time when I come home from the diner, I take a shower, eat a small dinner and go to sleep. But not last night. After my shower I went straight to bed because I didn't really feel hungry. My dad asked what was wrong and even offered to order a pizza but I just declined writing down that I was 'Just too tired and not hungry.' So there I was, in the dark, trying to sleep, but thinking about Bakugou. Why did it have to be like this?
I need to explain myself because he seemed a little disappointed and I felt really bad for leaving like I did. All he did was worry about me but I just couldn't get in a car again. Not after what happened the last time I set foot in a car. I ended up drifting off to sleep around two am and woke up at seven am to get ready for school that started at eight am. I'm so glad I took a shower last night. Ripping off my pajamas, I rush to put on my school uniform. Buttoning up the last button, I pull on my shoes and rush to grab my back pack. Then I realize. I left my book at Skyline Café. Fuck.
Running out the door, I don't have time for breakfast and I didn't make a lunch so I have to skip that too. Today is just going great. Running out the door, I'm not able to leave my dad a note so I just text him goodmorning and goodbye. Running down the road, I make it to the café in no time. Running in, Mina is already there, holding the blue book in her hands. "You need this?" she asks, holding the book out to me. Nodding my head, I almost run out the door. "Hey slow down. You are late, so you didn't pack a lunch did you?" she asks. Turning around I nod my head before pointing to the doors. "I'll bring your favorite at 12:00. I'll make some for lover boy too. You can go." she said, turning to the counter to attend to the griddle of pancakes.
Running the opposite direction, I check the time. 7:30. If I run I can make it by 7:45 and have 5 minutes to spare before I should be in first period. If I walk I won't make it until 8:05. Taking a deep breath, I book it down the sidewalk. Very few kids walked to school so I didn't run into anyone. I made it later than I thought I would. Opening the double doors, the 7:50 bell rings; the first signal to get to class. Taking a breather, I stop by the doors and walk to my locker. My feet ached and I didn't get to draw like I usually do. Great. Well I guess I could always do it in second period.
Walking to Pre-AP trigonometry was tiring. It was all the way across the school building and I haven't even seen my friends yet. Walking into the class, I sit near the back like yesterday and start taking notes from the board. This class was going to be hard. It went by quickly and before I knew it I was already heading to the next period. I cannot wait for fifth period.
The next few classes were boring and stupid. Who needs to know all the wars that have ever happened? Nobody. How will that help me in the 'real world'? It won't. I don't really need to know about these people who have been dead for centuries. Whatever. Fourth period is obviously my least favorite. Finally the bell rang and I was in fifth period. Yay!
I came in and was greeted by Todoroki and Midoriya. They were keeping to themselves at first until I walked over. "Hey Kirishima!" Midoriya said, waving his arm in the air to call me over. Both Todoroki and Midoriya were holding hands, the occasional hand squeeze would go on between them. They talked and I just nodded my head, to tired to write anything down until the teacher came in. "You will be working on chapter two with your partners from yesterday. Take down important notes and make sure you understand the deeper meanings of the words." he said, smiling to the class before turning to his computer. While he was a fun teacher, he was often looked at a too playful by students when he is actually a really smart guy.
Having done the notes yesterday, I skim through chapter three hoping we can work on that during free period. After I read the seemingly short chapter I went straight to drawing. It was a relaxing thing to do especially after what had happened this morning. Wait, I forgot about Mina bringing lunch. I should probably let Bakugou know. Pulling out my phone, I go to text him.
