Ruth is a witch. Due to a hectic mind her powers are getting out of control, so on the suggestion of a friend she decides to take a break. Using the home of an old friend Ruth finds solace in the wilderness from the nightmares that plague her nights and haunt her days. It's supposed to be stress free but when Ruth comes upon a half dead man in the woods things take a turn for the bizarre. Not that she's used to it. When you're a witch, little surprises you but with a werewolf in your home expect the unexpected.

The amount of personality the aurthor can get across in their writing is astonishing. It's seriously a good read. I believe this book could be read as stand-alone, but it is a follow up to another book, Duality. I enjoyed that one too, just loved this one a tad bit more! If you do read Hex first it may spoil some of Duality so just a warning.
