Mia's P.O.V.

It was a normal day at school for me, well as normal as it gets fr me. I start my great day by getting punched int he face by Drake and his goons and teased about being short and looking like a Latino elf. The usual until Greek class, witch i don't pay attention to because it is like it comes natural too me, when our teacher calls me up.

"Mia Valdez, Get up here did you not hear me the last times or were you in your own little world?" Mrs. Dodds yelled in her raspy voice.

"Gee, I didn't hear you, really sorry for not paying attention in this extremely interesting class," I said with my voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Thank you for finally getting up," Mrs. Dodds said harshly, "could you please say something in Greek if you think you are so much better than everyone else"

Most of the class snicked at the teachers comment.

"I already know all of this language and the culture, the class is just required in school," I stated in Greek (It came out weird when I wrote it in Greek).

Mrs. Dodds yelled furiously, "DENTON!" as I walked back to my seat.

When I sat down my friend Katie whisperer to me "You'll have detention with Mrs. Dodds."

"Great," I replied sarcastically "Lucky me."

When I walked into detention I saw the sweet Katie in detention.

" How did you get detention?" I asked

Katie replied " I didn't want you to be here alone"

Just then two boys that looked like twins came running in. when they get calmed down with their laughing fit. I asked them how they got in detention.

"How did you get in detention," I asked.

"We pulled a prank on a teacher," The slightly taller brother answered, "By the way you are probably wondering who we are? Well we are the Stolls, I am Travis and my younger brother is Conne.r"

"Ok," I said just as Mrs. Dodds entered the classroom and locked the door with a tiny silver key that she slid in her pocket.

As she turned around she started morphing into some hideous beast with leathery wings. Just as quick as she changed Katie, Travis and Conner had weapons out that looked like bronze. They started stabling her and hitting her with their swords while i just stood their of the the side watching. Then she vanished in a poof of yellow powder. ( soryy I am realy dad at fight secens."

"Are you ok," Katie asked worriedly

"Katie-kat, she is fine she is a demigod. Stop overreacting." Travis complained.

"I'm..I'm fine." I stuttered clearly in awe.

Conner piped up "We need to get her to camp half-blood, now."
