Chapter 5

At Pride Rock

It's night time and Kiara cannot sleep, it's just not the same without Kion. Everytime she tries to get rid of the memory, the memory always come back. After a while, she decided to get up and walks to the edge of Pride Rock to Star gaze. "Kion.. I don't know if you're upthere, but if you can hear me..please, do know that i love you.." Kiara sighed. She felt calmer suddenly and noticed some leaves surrounding her. "Huh?" Kiara said. She then felt the winds dying down, she decided to shrug it and go back inside the Den, luckily everyone is asleep so she doesn't have to worry about anyone searching for her

Next Morning

Everyone in the Pride Lands start to wake up. Everyone starts to do their mourning routine. Meanwhile...

Fuli P.O.V

I woke up in my Den, "ugh...kinda feeling lazy today" I said while lying down. 30 minutes later, my friend starts coming "Fuli? You here?" Bunga said.
"Come on Fuli, we have to start the patrol" Ono said. After a few moments of stretching, i said "Coming guys.." "Alright...where do we start?" Bunga said
"I don't know...this is my first time leadi-" I was cutted off by Bunga
"First time Leading? Kion put you Second in command! You should have a bit of experience of leading??" Bunga said
I sighed and realized he was right
"Alright then..let's go to the lair first then we start our patrol" I said.

Meanwhile at Pride Rock

Kiara woke up at thr den, she see that everyone is gone and she only see her dad so she approached him "Dad?" Kiara called. Simba turned to Kiara. "Yes Kiara?" Simba questioned "I want to talk about the story you told me a while ago..about you talking to grandfather.." She started. "Do you feel a wind that calms you down when you are taking to grandfather?" She asked. "Yes Kiara. Why do you ask?" Simba asked. "Well...i kinda snuck up from the den and stargaze, i decided to talk to Kion then i felt a wind buzzing on me" She explained. "Hmm...maybe it is Kion..." Simba thinks
"Well..speaking about Kion...i think we need you get ready for his funeral.." Kiara suggest. Simba, who is lost in thoughts snapped back to reality. "Oh! Yes you're right, let's inform everyone" Simba said to his daughter, getting up
