Fate Or Mistake {Sonadow}

The sun light shines through the transparent curtains, making the house feel warm, as a blue hedgehog yawned and sat up of his bed, his blue quills were messy because of him turning and tossing around which is normal for him. Stretching as he felt his muscles relaxed afterwards. He smiled in satisfaction as he got off of his bed, walking over to his closet to put on his usual attire. White gloves and red and white sneakers with yellow buckles on the side.

After taking a shower and brushing up his quills, Sonic then went down the stairs to the diner room, which he can see his younger brother, Tails, putting out two plates and two drinks, the two plates had each two chili dogs on them while the drinks were two each apple juice.

"Morning Tails,"Sonic smiled as he sat down, eating his chili dog as the two tailed fox just nodded tiredly. This made Sonic rose a brow. Noticing the dark eye bags under Tails eyes, it's easy to tell that the younger was staying up late, probably making machines again.

"Tails. Have you been staying up late again?" Sonic growled at the younger fox who just widened his eyes, startled by that tone of voice he knows too well. As he laughed nervously and nodded.

"What time did you even sleep?"

".........6:00 am..."

"Go in your room and sleep,"

"What why!?"

"GO IN YOUR ROOM. TAILS. AND SLEEP! AND I BETTER NOT HEAR YOU FIXING YOUR MACHINES AGAIN!"

"FINE!"

Sonic just groan at this while Tails just went upstairs, grumbling in annoyance.

Sonic took a deep breath and smiled, okay rough start of the day, but it will still be a great day today.

After he finished his chili dog, he took Tails's one since he wasn't going to seem to be eating that. Wiping the chili that was on his lips messily with the back of his white glove, leaving a red stain behind. He stretched once more before deciding to finally get out of the house.

Once he closed the front door behind him. He couldn't help but let out a inhale through his nose and sighed deeply through his mouth. It was such a beautiful day outside, the leaves were a bright green colored, birds were chirping, and flowers are blooming. Sonic smiled at this brightly, the month of June is his favorite month. Also the month of his birthday, which is about three weeks from now.

He then started to build up the speed inside of him, his eyes beaming with excitement as he then suddenly took off.

The ebony hedgehog curled into his blankets, laying on the bed as the curtains prevent the sunlight to lay inside of his room and blind his ruby eyes. He tiredly sat up, knowing that it was a day off from G.U.N and he should probably just be on his bed, blinking endlessly since he has trouble sleeping.

He then forced his legs to move and walk out of his room, walking down the hallways as he saw Rouge's room door opened, he then closed it. Since Rouge's loud snoring is annoying his ears already.

Shadow stretched his arms as he walked inside the kitchen and started to make coffee. He could probably go out for a run, since it is June. He has nothing better to do anyways. After he was done drinking his coffee, he went back into his room to put on his skates and walk back out to the front door.

He could go to that new restaurant that is nearby his shared apartment, he heard that it had the best dessert, and knowing him, he would want to try that out. Considering his sweet tooth for loving the taste of desserts.

Just thinking of that made him almost smiled.

He opened the front door, and stepped outside to feel the good breeze of air flying past his quills. He then proceeded to close the door and lock it with his key as he walked down and soon began to go to his destination.

When arriving to the city, Sonic slowed down his pace, not wanting to get in trouble of the townspeople getting mad at him for running too fast that ladies dresses go flying up in the air and hats flying away from mobains heads.

Last time he did that, the police got involved.

Thankfully Knuckles bailed him out.

He hummed as he walked down the sidewalk, complimenting people's attire or stopping just to sniff those wonderful flowers some stores have in sale. It was quite boring to say the least however, he wanted to do something that will really excite him. Fighting, playing games, all those fun things.

Too bad his nemesis is still working on his next machine (Sonic assumed, since it has been a week since he last saw him. Normally it will take for the Doctor to create a machine to possibly kill him for 2 weeks).

It wasn't until the blue hedgehog's bright emerald eyes caught sight of a black and red hedgehog walking just inside of a restaurant with a faint sound of a bell, alerting someone cane inside the building.

He grinned with satisfaction, finally something to do!

He quickly fasten his pace, like jogging as he quickly went inside the restaurant as if he was impatient of just walking inside there instead.

He then caught sight of the one he was targeting for and immediately went over to the ebony hedgehog and just slammed his hands on the table in front of the ebony hedgehog who was looking through the menu, making the other know that someone was there.

"Hiya Shadow!" Sonic greeted with enthusiasm, he could see the other's red eyes looking at his own eyes with a slight glare. This just satisfied Sonic as the azure hedgehog went to sit down on the opened chair across from the other, "It's been a while!".

"It's been two days since we have last seen each other, dumbass." Shadow rolled his red eyes as the other just dramatically gasped and placed his gloved hand on his chest as if he had been shot, "Shadow! How could you say that to me? I thought we were pals! Also two days are a really long time, so it has been a while." Sonic replied, his grin never leaving his face.

The ebony hedgehog just scoffed at this, "As if we were even pals. You annoy me so much that it makes me want to hang myself really." "Aw come on don't be like that! Y'know you care about me!"

"Uh", a voice interrupted their conversation as the two hedgehogs glanced up to see a brown hybrid male with red and green eyes as he looked uncomfortable, he was holding a small black notebook and a pen in his other hand, "You two done perhaps choosing what to order?"

"I'll like the vanilla milkshake and the cookie dough strawberry flavored." Shadow responded, and Sonic, not knowing what to say just answered, "A strawberry milkshake?"

"Alright then, your order will come in about 8 or 9 minutes." The hybrid brown male replied as he then walked off, making the azure hedgehog look at the other with a smirk, "A vanilla milkshake and a cookie dough?"

"Shut the hell up."

Next Chapter will be about Sonic and Shadow going in the Chao Garden, I'm sure you all know what would probably happened when they are there.

Please be patient with me about making the next chapter however, I have school and I need to be inspired to actually fully finish a chapter really, so this story will mostly have slow updates. But it doesn't mean I'm giving up on it.
