Jawn :- The Prophecy

Zyne came back home long enough before Jawn woke up. He was too tired and exhausted already, so he quietly drop his bag and laid down beside Jawn. He remembered how angry she was before sleeping and imagined what she would do when she wakes up seeing him beside her. He turned to her face and quietly kissed her fore head as a form of apology. Nature didn't make him finish his apologies before he slept off. He must have been through a lot of stress during the day which made him sleep off like a pregnant pig, making some noisy and irritating sound.

The noise became so scary that it made Jawn jump out of bed. She got so angry and frustrated seeing him snore like that.

"Papa is so disgusting. How do I catch my sleep if he keeps snoring like this?" She said as she use her pillow to cover his face in other for the sound to decrease but instead, he turned around and pushed the pillow away while sleeping. She got more devastated and frustrated. Her face were already swollen while her fist were shaking.

The idea of covering her ear instead got to her and she did by putting her head phone in her ear so as to catch her sleep again. Luckily, it worked and she slept off without been interrupted.

The sun was raising while the birds came out in groups to sing and play around. Zyne and Jawn were still fast asleep when a strange foot step came closer to their cave. It was so dark like a shadow and had no physical appearance. Jawn could hear the sound from her sleep and could see the strange creator but it sound like a dream to her.

The footstep drew closer and closer until he reached their door. The door made way as it got in and looked at Jawn. Jawn could see it clearly like it was real but to her, it was a dream. This strange creator had two eyes that can be seen but no face. It has just a hand and three legs that can't be seen physically except it shadow. Jawn was still asleep seeing it all as a dream. She got up in the dream and questioned the strange creator.

"Jawn, I am Nakizo from the spirit world. Am on a mission to make sure you are save. You have a multiple blessing and Power in you that no one can interpret except your self."

"Nakizo? Spirit world? What exactly are you?" She asked as she stood up and moved closer to it.

Nakizo stared at her for long and held her right hand where the snake bit her. Jawn got so scared immediately because she could hear his voice in her mind and could talk to him back. She dragged her hand from him and stepped back in fear.

Nakizo looked at her and tried to talk but instead, it varnished in the air. Jawn was terrified as she quickly laid down and use her blanket to cover her face. She was already shivering as her teeth kept hitting each other continuously. She was still in shock as she heard another foot step moving closer to her. She held her blanket so tight as the foot step came closer and stopped in front of her. She could see a hand moving towards her blanket and her fear increased to the extend that she could not talk. Her blanket began to move slowly to open her face but she held it back firmly. The force increased as her blanket was pulled away totally from her. She couldn't talk or move any more because she was in excruciating pain. She couldn't control her self as her body began to freeze and her voice was totally gone. Her eyes already pumped out and red, which made her halfway blind.

Unexpectedly, it was the squirrels. They were trying to play prank on her as she sleeps but stopped immediately they saw her scary and reckless look. The oldest screamed out in fear and quickly woke Zyne up. Zyne got so angry as he was already enjoying his sleep. He was about to pass his aggression on the squirrels but stopped when he saw Jawn. He got scared as he saw her body looking like that of an horror.

"What happened?" Zyne asked in fear.

"We saw her looking like this, something terrible might have happened during the night. I fear she might die." The oldest said as he held onto the wall in fear.

Zyne was terrified and confused. He had no idea of the next step he should take but just stare at her scary body. He was surprised seeing her body iced and freezed up like she has been locked up in an ice bag for years. Her mouth were already pinned together as if a gum was used.

The Squirrels couldn't bear seeing her any longer so they ran out in fear. Zyne tried calling them back but they were too fast to be stopped.

"This is totally out of hand. Jawn what have you done? I seriously don't have any idea or options right now. No one to run to for help except going to the priest but I fear he might end up doing the worse." He said as he slowly moved closer to her and carried her up.

He held her and feared she was dieing. Tears finally dropped from his eyes after thirty years. He wept silently as he held her. She whispered something silently and poured out black blood from her mouth. He quickly carried her up and ran down to the cave as he head towards the priest shrine.

Immediately he saw the priest, Jawn body came back to normal as she inhaled for some minute and exhaled heavily. She finally let out a sign of relieve and opened her eyes. Zyne was shocked. He looked at the priest who was still some meters away from them and looked back at Jawn.

"What's wrong Papa? Where are you taking me to?" Jawn asked as she stare at Zyne who was still carrying her.

"Wha..... I.... I.... Wait, you were........ I don't understand anymore." Zyne answered in confusion.

"Did something bad happened? Why do you sound like you are scared or something?" Jawn asked again as she got down.

Zyne thought about how worse it may be if he tells her anything. He bend low to her height, looking at her with a confused look. He put his hands on her head slowly and just to make sure she was totally fine.

"I was only trying to play a silly prank on you, That's all." He said as he held her right hand. He was about to ask of her hand when he noticed a strange mark on the same part where the snake bit her.

"Where is the bite? It gone Jawn, did you do something to it?" Zyne asked in surprise.

Jawn looked at her hand and got confused. Then she remembered all that happened as they flashed back to her like a vision. Zyne noticed her and looked at her waiting for an answer. She noticed him and was about to talk but a strange voice from her mind told her to keep it secret from everyone. She looked back in fear thinking the person was behind her but saw nothing.

She looked back at Zyne,"I burned it with anger yesterday with a hot iron. It hurt but am fine now." She lied and stuttered a couple of time.

"What, how could you do such a thing to your beautiful skin? Am sorry I caused it but how come it has a J sign?" Zyne asked as he looked at the hand continuously.

"I made it just a name tag for my name, that all." She said as she hugged Zyne. She remembered Nakizo and whispered it name silently. Just like it knew she whispered it name, Nakizo appeared in front of her. She could not talk because she wanted to keep it a secret, so she looked at it in confusion until Zyne left her and stood up. Zyne distracted her view for a second and Nakizo disappeared.

"Let go home now." Zyne said as he reached out his hand for her to hold.

She held his hand as they head home. She was still not sure and comfortable with Nakizo but ignored it as she teased Zyne to play with her. He refused at first but she begged him and made him lost options.
