Jawn :- School

"You must be kidding. Jawn is not your daughter." Zyne said angrily.

The Queen looked at him and smiled, "You caught me, I was only kidding. She is my best friend's daughter."

"Your best friend daughter? Where is she now?" Zyne asked quietly.

The Queen gave a troubling look, "Your question are too much, you have to save her." She said and fade away in the air.

Zyne was about to hold her back but he couldn't. He stayed at the sky and exhaled. Vee noticed his mood and quietly him some privacy. The squirrels followed slowly as they look so angry.

"What does she take us for? A guardian angel or what?" The smallest squirrel said in anger.

"All the same, we still have to save her." Vee said as he gazed and sit beside a tree.

Zyne was still looking confused and worried. Different thoughts flow through his mind as he imagine the kind of life Jawn would meet in the city.

"We have to leave for the city." Jawn said with a cold look on his face.

"Are you out of your mind? We can't go to the city like this, we are not human like you." The oldest squirrel shouted angrily.

Zyne looked at them and picked up his bag as he changed his direction to the South, heading to the city."Then go home, I can do this alone."

Vee stood up to follow him but he remembered it as no safety in the city."Let head back home, am sure he will get back to us.

Five Years Later

         Ave and Miracle walked majestically beside Jawn. They were already in high school and were famous due to their Smartness and Loyalty. Jawn frequently waved her hair as she present her new French Braid hair style. Dane walked up to them with his hands in his pockets. He was known as a wealthy boy from a wealthy home. He was the only son with a sibling. He is a good basketballer but was rude and spoilt.

"Now we are in high school, you can't rule over this place." Dane sounded mean.

Beauty steered at him with a desperate look and walked away. He felt ashame and wanted to stop her but Ave held him shoulder and threw him away.

"You're a freak Beauty." Dane shouted angrily as he stood up. Other student around quietly mocked him as he adjust his shirt.

"That was harsh Beauty." Miracle said sadly.

Beauty paused and looked at her with shock,"Don't tell me you like him?"

"...... I never said so...."

Ave burst out in laughter and received a big slap on his back. "What's that for?"

Miracle looked at him angrily and walked away. "Miracle likes Dane." Beauty said in laughter.

Ave laughed along as they walked into the class. Beauty quickly adjust her sit towards Miracle and asked again. Ave watched as she looked at Beauty and hissed.

"I will tell him for you if you can't." Ave said mockingly.

"Better don't dive your nasty business into mine. I like him means nothing to you so sit your freaky ass down and mind your mouth." Miracle insulted angrily.

"Why didn't you tell me all along that you like him? I'm sure you have been crushing on him for long." Beauty asked as she gasped in excitement.

Miracle looked at her to see if she wasn't mocking her,"I told him."

Beauty smile fade as she moved closer to Miracle to listen to what she was about to say.

"He....... said I......" She paused as the teacher walked in.

Beauty quickly adjust her sit back to her position. Her mind wasn't in the class as she continuously looked at Dane and Miracle.

The class ended after an hour and the teacher left the class. Other students followed except Dane, Miracle, Beauty, Ave and a class mate named Joel. Dane pretend to be packing his books and waited for the teacher to leave the class. He immediately stood up and walked up to Beauty.

"I need your time." He said rudely.

Beauty who was still thinking about Miracle, ignored him and went to sit beside Miracle. "What did he say?"

"I.....am no match." Miracle said with a sad look.

Beauty got angry because she was expecting him to say something similar seems he lacks manners. She stood up in anger, "Who the hell do you think you are to understimate my best friend?"

Dane faked a sad look, "So sorry about that, but she is a bitch compared to who I date."

He couldn't smile before receiving a dirty slap from Beauty. "If you dare try something like that again with any girl, I will bump your teeth out of your mouth."

She got others attention as she spit on Dane's shirt. His temper raised as he held her back and raised his hand to slap her but Joel held his hand and punch him, "Respect ladies fool."

Dane fell and kissed the floor. He couldn't believe he was punched by a guy like him so he stood up and attempt to return his but Joel's body structure scare him off. He looked at Joel in fear and left the class.

"Be mindful next time, he is a freak." Joel said gently as took his back bag and left the class.

Beauty was shocked and amazed by Joel's look and appearance. She watched carefully as he walked out. "Am I dreaming?"

Miracle walked up to her and waved her hand across her eyes just to get her attention but she was already lost in thought.

"Who is that guy?" Miracle asked anxiously.

"His name is Joel. The most quiet guy in the entire school." Ave answered.

"Are you kidding? He just saved me from that nas....that Dane." She said as she looked at Miracle.

Miracle looked at her and walked out with Ave. Beauty followed running as they argued and head to the basketball court. Beauty and Miracle were surprised to see crowd in the court.

"Was going on?" Beauty asked curiously.

"It match day, a competition between our school team and Wild Dragons." Ave said as he hurriedly find a sit and created space for Beauty and Miracle.

They all cheered as their school team got in. Surprisingly, Dane and Joel were among. "Is that not Joel? How come he got into the school team so fast?" Beauty asked again.

"He is far more than imagination. Fast, strong and skillful. He as a street game record of going three sixty twice in the air before dunking." Ave answered.

Beauty was shock and amazed, "My crush is super awesome."

Ave and Miracle looked at her surprisingly, "Your crush?" They shouted together.

Beauty realized she as caused a little mistake, so she quickly jumped up and cheered continuously.

Miracle pulled her down and asked again.

"Am falling for him."

"First sight Beauty?" Miracle asked anxiously.

"Woooh... Beauty and the Beast!" Ave shouted in excitement.
