Over the weeks I had gotten to know more and more about Dave he was the sweetest asshole I ever met. We were still being friends but I liked our friendship. Even though I knew he wanted more, it's scary. So I'm taking it one day at a time, he would be my first boyfriend if I did choose to be with him, that was a step I didn't think I was ready to take.
"Temmy turn around."
"Dave stop, why you always taking pictures of me." I giggled.
"Cause you're pretty." He smiled looking at his phone.
"Yeah right. How's Millie and Kairi?"
"Kairi's fine, Millie...I don't know man." He sighed.
"What's been going on?" I paused on eating my ice cream.
"She's just...crazy. Asking me where I keep going, who I'm spending my time with. We not even together." He huffed.
"Well it'll be ok."
"I hope so."
"So what are we doing tomorrow?"
"Actually that's what I wanted to ask you." He smirked.
"What is it?"
"So I have a listening party for the new album...do you wanna be my plus one since we don't go on dates?" He rolled his eyes.
"Dave I don't know. That's pretty public."
"Tem were walking on the sidewalk in Manhattan, that's public."
"Yeah but it's a party. You know I'm gonna stand out I'm not 4'11 with a perfect body."
"That's why I like you Tem cause you're real. Those other chicks boring."
"I'm still not going." I crossed my arms.
"I'll see you at 8:00." He smiled as we approached my building.
"So I have no choice here."
"Nope."
"Ok I'll go, but the moment I become uncomfortable I'm leaving."
"Period." He laughed doing the hand motion.
"Goodnight David." I laughed.
"Goodnight September." He smirked.
I walked into my house and hurried up and showered. I changed into a crop top with some panties and prepared for my yoga and nightly meditation.
After I was finished I climbed into bed and cuddled my body pillow.
