Chapter 5 - Beginning of the end - part 2

We geared up preparing for the final assault, this one is our final horaah, our final mission for there is no turning back for this. The prototype "Delta-11's" are being prepped up and being loaded into the "Delta-8's" and we did the same, with us equipped with the remainder of our armory and deep behind enemy lines, filled with determination and perseverance, the director gave one final speech "Ladies and gentelmen today marks the end of the SCU-MLF war. With this earth will be at peace, remember there are many people that dont know what were doing, but they will know exactly what we've done. The plan is we push from their loading bay up to the main elevator, from there we will split up to teams, got it?" And we said "Yes sir!" For we might never see each other again. We arrived at the base and we pushed through, there are 3 main AA turret's and with the device that the ditector gave me i was able to target the turrets with Zeus' guns. So we fought to the entrance of the elevator but we killed them all. Then we split up the half goes up top trying to stop more enemy soldiers to going up. Mack decided to fight with the ground team but john insisted, saying that he lost everything and that we have something to leave and that there was still a future to us, so i said my final goodbye to my old friend, and we went up from the elevator. Once up top we split up to teams again so the enemies will get confused the team was me, mack, and the director, we made it to the other elevator controls and made our way to the ship yard controlls we made it and the director tries to find a ship that has everything we need, but we heard enemies coming and the director told us to run west and he will guide us, he closed the blast door behind us and we ran to the ship and while running at the corridor i recived a live video from the control pannel and i saw that enemies are using a lazer cutter to open the door so i said to turn back and mack protested saying "he's doing it for us" but i ignored him and ran back, all i can see on my helmet's HUD is the door slowly having a hole in the middle.
