Chapter 4- Parenting

Scarlett's P.O.V

I caught the bus back from school that day, I wanted a chance to listen to some hardcore dramatic songs to express my mood.

The bus stop was roughly a few metres from my house, so when I noticed a black sports car outside my house- I knew something was up.

No one was in the car, so I decided to speed on in to the house. Both my parents were home this evening.

"Hi Mu-" I tried to speak to my Mum but she had her back towards me and was talking to someone else, once she heard my voice she turned round and smiled at me.

"Hey Scar!" She said "The Alpha popped round to have a conversation with Dad about some new changes that will be going on in the pack, I think he's in a few of your classes?"

I looked past Mum to see the same smirk that was classically known as Ash's - who happens to be the Alpha.
He says nothing, but after a huge gulp, I speak.
"Would you mind just helping me with the.. Maths homework?" I said rather forcefully to Ash, he gave me a look of confusion but I quickly led him to my room upstairs.
I shut the door behind me and sit down on the bed.
"Did you tell them?" I ask, getting straight to the point.
"What, that I have the most beautiful mate in the world?" Ash smirked at me and began to lean on closer to my face but I stood up.
"I'm serious, If you haven't already told them then you're going to have to soon" I said.
"I'm going to tell the whole Pack on Thursday, hopefully you will have made your mind up by then." He said.

"Made my mind up about what?" I asked, avoiding the obvious.
"You know what!" Ash said angrily.
"Imagine that, Ash Greenway, the Alpha get's rejected by his very own mate, it will go down in history" I say, smiling whilst tracing a finger on his face, knowing this will drive him nuts.
Before he get's chance to speak, I do:
"Come on, Let's go down- and by the way, I think I may have scratched your car"
He muttered something under his breath, but a I don't care what he says.

The Kitchen is in full swing when we return, I expect Mum was cooking her famous Spaghetti Bolognese and Dad was simple chopping the bread. Ash and I laid the table, and sat down.
"Here we are" Mum said proudly, plotting the tub of Bolognese on the table. My parents sit with us, and start a conversation.
"So, How's things Ash?" Mum asked.
He looked at me, as if to say 'Well....'
"Good, I have some great News to share...' He said, not looking away from me.
"Are we aloud to know what?" Dad asked, eagerly.
My Heart Rate doubled for the ten seconds that Ash was silent. How would they react? Was he going to tell them with out asking me? Wait, was I even his official mate?
