Recap: After I picked out what I wanted to wear, I heard Sarah on the phone with someone. "No, he's not like him Tyler. I know I just met him, but I feel something that I haven't felt in a long time with him. It's different this time, I swear."

Colby's P.O.V

What is she talking about? What does she mean I'm not him? Who the fuck is Tyler? "Yes I know, But he's so sweet though. Oh shit I think he's done getting ready. Wish me luck. Love you, muahhh." Sarah ended the call and I came out a couple minutes after so I didn't look suspicious. "Who was that?" I asked seeing if she would tell me. "Oh an old friend. Ready to go?" Sarah averted her eyes away from me after I asked her who that was. Why would she do that? "Yea let's go." I said smiling. As we got to her car, she plugged in the aux and started playing Melanie Martinez's new K-12 playlist. After we listened to a few songs we pulled into the In-N-Out parking lot. "No stay right there, don't get out." I said firmly so she would stay put. I mean I had to return a favor back to her so I had to be a gentleman. I got out of her car and walked over to the driver's side, and opened her door. "M'lady."  I said offering my hand out for her to grab it. "Why thank you." she said to me while grabbing my hand. She ended up letting her hand stay in mine until we got inside the restaurant. After we sat down in the booth I noticed she was looking around at everything. Watching her eyes observe the details around the little area. It's like her eyes sees beauty in everything she looks at. She looked back at me and we locked eyes. I didn't even look away until the waiter came by and I looked at waitress. She asked us what we wanted so I just got a regular cheeseburger with fries on the side and a chocolate shake. When Sarah ordered the waitress couldn't keep her eyes off of me, even when she asked Sarah what she wanted she looked at me the whole time. When I looked at the waitress again she averted her eyes back to the little notepad she had in her hands. I didn't even want to really see what she looked like. I just wanted to focus on her. Sarah ordered the same thing as me since it was her first time being here. Wait how did she know where this was then? Huh. "Wow." Sarah said. "Wow what?" I asked. "That girl could not keep her eyes off of you." she said giggling a little. "I know right. I didn't know what to do so I just kept looking at you so I didn't have to look at her." I said laughing along with her. "I think she needs to learn to not stare at someone so hard, like damn." Sarah said. Is Sarah jealous another girl was looking at me? I noticed I was staring so I looked away before she caught me staring again. About 20 minutes later a different waitress came back with our food. "Where did the other waitress go?" Sarah asked. "Oh she had to leave. Her shift was over, so I'll be your new waitress for tonight." I looked over at Sarah to see her smiling wide and proud like she was happy the other waitress left. "Oh alright then, thank you for the food." Sarah said still smiling. I couldn't help but smile at her. How could you not. Her smile is just so cute you can't help yourself but smile at her. We ended up talking about anything and everything with each other. She was just so goofy, and she wasn't afraid to be herself around me. I wasn't afraid to be myself around her either, it's like you can be the stupidest person around her and she wouldn't care, she would just be stupid with you. After we left the restaurant, I gave her the directions to a special place that she wouldn't know about or I think she wouldn't know about. "Oh my gosh Colby where am I taking us?" Sarah said while laughing a little. "You'll see when we get there." "Ughhh ok." We pulled up to the place I told her to go to, and her eyes scanned the area. "What is this place?" she asked not taking her eyes off of the view. "This is where I go when I just need to be alone and think." I said looking at her. She looked at me and just smiled. "Oh wow." she said astonished. "I know, isn't it beautiful." "It's amazing Colby." she said in a whisper tone. "You know i've never took anyone here before." "Really?" she asked looking back at me. "Yea, I always thought if I showed anyone else this place they would take it away a from me." "What do you mean by that?" she asked getting a little closer to me. "I feel like if anyone found out about this place they wouldn't treat it right, like everyone else treats this city." "Oh. Well I won't share it with anyone I promise." she said sitting down on the bench behind me. I sat down beside her, and I felt her lean her head down on my shoulder. "Thank you." I said. "For what?" "For today, you've just been so sweet and I just wanted to say thank you for that."
