chapter 6

Recap: As we entered his driveway, I honestly forgot he lived with everyone for a second. As we entered the house I could hear people talking about someone in the living room, I don't know if it was about me or if it was about someone else but some of the things they were talking about sounded familiar, but I just couldn't place it.

Colby's P.O.V

I watched as Sarah looked around the house like it was her first time seeing it. "This place still amazes me you know." "Yea sometimes it even amazes me." I said looking at her. "Uh do you wanna go and sit with the others or....." "Uh yea, sure." She said, I pointed the way where she could go and she obliged. As we got into the living room, it fell quiet for a little bit and then the talking started again. I sat down in one of our bean bag chairs we had and she just sat down on the one beside me. We hung out for a couple hours, as Sam was getting up he looked at me and pointed to Sarah. "Brother, look at her." I looked over to see a sleeping Sarah. She looked so peaceful, her brown hair flowed back away from her face, her lips plumped out. She looked so beautiful even when she was sleeping, of course she did. All I really did was look at her and smile. After a couple minutes I decided to pick her up, bridal style and take her to my room. I honestly have no clue if she was a heavy sleeper or not, hopefully she is. As I laid her down on my bed I moved the blankets and covered her up. She moved a little and then opened her eyes just a little, she looked at me and smiled as she rolled over and went back into a deep sleep. I laughed and just went back downstairs with the rest of them. An hour or two went by and a sleepy Sarah walked down the stairs, hair a little messy, but she still looked cute. "Well hey there sleepy head, how'd ya sleep." Sam asked looking at her. She smiled and sat back down on the bean bag chair beside me. "M'still tired." she said stretching her arms. "Do you maybe wanna go back to bed, or do you wanna do something else?" I asked her trying to see what she wanted to do. "I don't know, I wanna sleep but then I'm already awake... you know?" I just chuckled at her and nodded my head. We didn't really do much, we played games, talked and that's pretty much it. Before I went to bed, I realized Sarah had fallen asleep again. I swooped her up in my arms and carried her up the stairs to my room. I had taken off my clothes and had myself shirtless in my joggers, I didn't want to make her uncomfortable if I was in my boxers so I just slipped those on. After I had her covered up I crawled in beside her and got comfortable. I realized this would be our first time staying in the same bed together. I just smiled and fell asleep to that thought of me and her being together in the same bed for the first time.

The next morning.

I looked over to see Sarah still sleeping peacefully. She looked so cute, her hair to the side, her face glowing from the sunlight coming through the curtains. What the fuck was this girl doing to me. She was making me feel these type of feelings I haven't felt before. Especially not like this. This... this was something else. She was making me feel some type of way. Just hearing her voice calms me. I could look at her like this all day. "Why are you staring at me like that?" Sarah said smiling at me. "Because you look beautiful." I said calmly. "Your so sweet." She said as she kissed me, our lips lingered there, mine not wanting to let go from missing the feeling of her lips on mine. She finally leaned back and I sat up. "Well we gotta get up I don't want to stay in bed all day." I said while getting up. "No, why can't we just stay in bed and watch movies?" "Because I have things to do with the guys, we are supposed to go to a haunted hotel today in town. I don't know where at but Sam set it up for us. I was going to ask if you wanted to come, so do you?" I watched as Sarah's eyes lit up and I saw a smile creep up on her face. "I would love to, I've always wanted to go to a haunted hotel. It just sounds so much fun with all the adrenaline you would get if something happened."  "Well alright, just pack a bag and get ready to go. I think we've got about two hours before we leave. I'm going to go down stairs with Sam and see what we are doing exactly then I'll be back up to pack my bag. Ok?" She looked up at me with a big smile and nodded her head. I went to Sam's room and we talked about how we would do what we usually do, investigate, try to talk to the spirits and all that. For some reason I'm really excited for this trip with Sarah, it would be our first one together. I hope she doesn't freak out like Corey does. Guess we'll have to find out.
