Chapter 4

If I don't eat, I'll lose weight. If I lose weight, Kai will no longer be mean to me.

That thought was in my head for the whole of the next day. At lunch, I strangely wasn't hungry so I didn't have anything. I put on a smile to mask my sadness and at the end of the day, I met with JunHong, Tracy and JunHong's friend (who's name - I recently found out - was Jongup).

We all headed to the cafe together. Laughing, smiling, chatting.

Tracy ordered a cheese and ham sandwich, Jongup ordered the same (surprise, surprise. I honestly think they like each other), JunHong ordered a lettuce and cherry tomato sandwich - no, not just tomato, cherry tomato - and I just had a bottle of water.

"Aren't you going to get anything, Luna?" asked Jongup.

"Nah, I'm not too hungry."

"Hmmm...ok then"

"What?"

"You just seemed a bit...off...today." added in Tracy. All three stared at me so intently that is felt as if they were staring into my soul. Creepy.

"Guys, seriously, I'm fine! I just feel a bit sick - that's all."

That was the biggest lie I've ever told. I wasn't fine, I wasn't sick and that defiantly wasn't all. They pretended to believe me but it was obvious they didn't buy it. Every now and then they gave me a suspicious glance and offer me some of their food. Of course, I denied every time.

"So, how are you two finding school so far?" I asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Great!" replied JunHong. "My favourite class so far would probably be...music"

"Same here!" added Jongup. That's strange. I never thought that either of them would take an interest in music but I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover.

"That's cool!" Tracy stated.

Suddenly, I felt a buzz from my phone. I unlocked it to see an unread text.

Kai <3: Luna, where the hell r u?!

Sighing, I quickly responded.

Me: I'm at the cafe with some friends. Y?

Buzzz~

Kai <3: You should've told me where u were. What were you thinking?!

Me: I'm not a child, u know! and u didn't answer my question.

No response.

Maybe I shouldv'e told him. He'll be really angry with me now.

"Hello? Earth to Luna!"

I blinked twice then looked up to see JunHong snapping his fingers in front of my face. Woah...I must've been a million miles away then.

"Hmm? Oh, sorry."

We all laughed until the little bell above the door rang, signalling someone's entrance into the cafe. Automatically, our heads spun round. My eyes went from normal sized to the size of a baseball withing 2 seconds. My blood froze and my face turned into ice. The person heading straight towards our table was probably the worst person to walk in on you and your friends chatting. To make the matter worse, he had the definition of furious printed on every visible part of his face.

Kai was storming towards our table.

As soon as he reached us, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me up to my feet. Luckily, I was sitting on the edge so I didn't fall over anyone.

"Ow, Kai. Stop please!" I muttered, trying and failing to release myself from his grip. He simply ignored the pleas and the stunned looks from my friends and proceeded to walk towards the door.

However, his path was blocked by none other than JunHong.

"Let her go." he stated, trying to look tough but failing miserably.

"I'd move but of the way if I were you." Kai replied in a scary voice. He must've looked manacing because JunHong instantly dropped his 'tough guy' act.

"I...I...you" he tried to argue but it sounded as if he was being strangled to death. Actually, he probably was by the world famous dreaded death glare.

"JunHong - it's ok. Sit back down. I'll see you tomorrow." I said, trying to reasure him. Kai scoffed.

"Maybe you will, maybe you won't." Kai said. Ok, now I was getting scared. What was he going to do to me.

Taking one last sorrowfull look at me then a glare at Kai, he took his seat with the others and I- with my head hanging - followed Kai out of the cafe.

I trudged behind him to his car and, without making a sound, got in. It was only when we started moving that he spoke.

"Why the hell did you go out somewhere without telling me?!"

"Because A: if I did tell you, you would've said that I couldn't go and B: You were the one who kicked me out of your house!"

"DON'T YOU DARE TURN THIS ON ME OR YOU'LL BE SORRY!"

"Can we please stop arguing!" by this time, tears had already flooded my vision.

"No, not untill you promise to never go out with friends without my permission!"

"But-"

"Promise! NOW!"

Sniffling, I promised.

"O...ok"

ZELO'S POV!!!

Who the hell was that?! How dare he just swagger in like he owned the place and drag Luna out of it. I felt so horrible after I backed dwon but that guy looked as if he could murder me on the spot. Luna did reasure me though. I hope it was ok.

Luna

A strange name but in a nice was. It's unique, it's special, it's beautiful - like her. I wonder how she got her name. Even though we've only known each other for two days, I feel somthing that I've never felt before. Tracy calls her 'moon face'. I'm not too sure why.

Tracy...she's a strange child.

She lives in a world all of her own. She and Jongup would work perfectly together. The obviousness of their crushes on each other is enought to make anyone roll on the floor laughing.

That guy wouldn't get out of my head, though. What was he to her? Did he have any right to drag Luna around?

Millions of questions drowned my brain. They flew around my head at a zillion miles per hour, demanding answers.

"Who was that?" me and Jongup said in unison.

"Cousin?"

"Brother?"

"No, he's her boyfriend."

Boyfriend.

That word rung in my head like a church bell in the morning. My face dropped like a stone and I stared at my lap

"Oh"

How could she love someone like that. My blood boiled just thinking about him. He simply grabbed her and walked off like it was normal. He treated Luna like an object, not a human. Just the 'I'm better than you' air made my fists clench.

Why couldn't Luna date someone who will tell her she's beautiful. Someone who will lwt her visit friends whenever she wants to. Someone who will trust her, care for her, love her.

Someone like me
