Bakugou's Sick Day

Strained groans could be heard as I entered the third-floor hallway with the health bag to see if anyone was sick, followed by loud, explosive coughs that echoed off the walls. I climbed up the 4th flight of stairs, barging into Bakugou's room without knocking. I don't have to knock when someone sounded like they were literally dying. It was my job to keep these students in line and that doesn't work well if they were sick. I was sure Sempai Radio Head wouldn't have a problem with it.

I set the bag down beside Bakugou's bed with a sigh. "Why do all of you have to get sick at once?" I pulled on my gloves and nurses mask.

"Why the fuck are you-" Bakugou was cut off by his explosive coughing.

"Don't cuss at me, Bakugou." I said sternly. "I'm here to help you."

Bakugou suspiciously eyed the health bad as he sat up.

I pushed him back down firmly on the bed. He grabbed my wrists, his hands burning with igniting sweat from his fever. Before he had burned me, my skin changed to that of the Pompeii Worm. "You're not doing okay, Bakugou. You have to let me help you now." I looked him in the eye to calm him down and his grip on my arms loosened. The Pompeii Worm was definitely a good choice that morning...

I pulled some flu medicine from the health bag. "You have to take this if you wanna get better."

He pouted but nodded his head, allowing me to administer the bitter grape flavored liquid. He nearly gaged on the taste as I forced it down his throat with the syringe pump. "So gross!"

"I'm sorry, Bakugou. Cherry would be worse though. "I placed the syringe on his night table and noticed that his trash can was full of tissues and he had multiple empty boxes. I placed the medicine in the bag again and pulled out on of the insta-cool packs. I cracked it so the gel became cold and placed it lightly on Bakugou's forehead.

He coughed again, less harshly than before. "Loya..." he wined, "Don't leave me..."

"Bakugou I have to see to the others too. You're not the only sick one in my care. I'm lucky Recovery Girl gave me an extra bottle or I wouldn't have enough to treat everyone..."

"But I don't want you to go!" Bakugou whined like a little kid.

"I'll come back after I take some medicine to the others who are sick, okay?"

"Okay..." He pouted. "Just hurry up."

I sighed as I headed back to Bakugou's room. I could hear him calling for me in a whiny voice from down the hall. Outside of his room stood the green haired boy All Might favored so much. "Hi, Deku. Did you need something?"

"No... but class was cancelled because so many are sick."

"Yeah, Todoroki has a cold, which I suspect if from overuse of his hot quirk when he's not used to it, Aoyama has a belly ache that is causing an unfortunate case of diarrhea, Kaminari is still nearly brain dead from trying to go Plus Ultra twice in one day, and Bakugou, worst of all, has the flu. His room is temporarily quarantined so nobody gets it because it's pretty bad."

"That sucks, Loya. How soon do you think they'll be back in class?"

"Bakugou is bed ridden for at least a week but the others should all be back in a day or two."

The door beside us creaked open slowly and Bakugou slowly came into view. He spotted me and through his arms around my neck, sparks flying from his fever sweat. "Loya!"

"Bakugou!" I yelled as I caught him. "Why are you out of bed?"

"I wanted to see you, Loya!" He sniffled. "You took too long so I came to get you!"

Deku put out his hands to help me. "Kachan!

"Deku, no!" I stopped him. "My quirck makes me less susptable to the flu than you are. I'll get him back in bed." I sighed and shook my head. "It's like your three, Bakugou..." I dragged the sick boy back through his door and to his bed. As I layed him down I was pulled onto the bed as though I was nothing but a large teddy bear.

Deku was still at the door snickering as he snapped a photo. "Oh my God... it's adorable..."

I glared at him. "Close the door Midoriya. I'll be out once he's asleep."

Deku was surprised when I called him Midoriya because I never did that."Okay, Loya. I'll see you later."

Loya used: Pompeii Worm! Effects last 24 hours!

Advantages: Fire proof skin

Disadvantages: has to get hair and tail wet with warm salt water every three hours or will get dehydrated

Alvinella pompejana, the Pompeii worm, is a species of deep-sea polychaete worm (commonly referred to as "bristle worms"). It is an extremophilefound only at hydrothermal vents in the Pacific Ocean, discovered in the early1980s off the Galápagos Islands by French marine biologists. They can reach up to 5 inches in length and are pale gray with red tentacle-like gills on their heads. these creatured live in the thermal vents of the pacific ocean.
