"I was ten years old when I discovered how horrible and disgusting the real world is."
"How did you deal with it?"
"Well Jimin, sometimes an appropriate response to reality... is to go insane."

"I don't know how I'm going to be able to live through the day, I barely got any sleep last night." Taehyung groaned beside Jimin as they walked down the hall to get to their first class of the day, AP Calculus.
"I wonder what had you up late this time?" Jimin commented dryly as his tired friend rested his arm onto Jimin's shoulder while they walked. Taehyung used to do this to make fun at Jimin's height but now it's become an unfair habit of the nineteen-year-old's. Jimin had to start adjusting his backpack a certain way to prevent Taehyung's elbow from causing his shoulder pain. As much as Jimin would like to tell Taehyung to stop, he was too nice to.
"I got caught up in playing this new video game where you have to kill people for money. I spent hours trying to get a legendary weapon." Tae answered groggily, finally removing his elbow from Jimin's poor shoulder.
"Sounds graphic."
"It is!" Tae chuckled loudly as they entered their classroom, the students gave them weird looks and their teacher shushed them while pointing to their seats. Jimin sighed as Tae cursed under his breath at the rude stares from their peers. Once they sat in their desks, which were next to each other, the teacher Mr. Oh started the day's lesson.
"Why is everyone at this school so uptight? I swear it's like they've never seen somebody laugh before." Tae whispered to Jimin. Jimin shrugged and continued to take notes on the lesson. Calculus is a hard class, especially since it's AP and he can't afford to get a bad grade. It's the only reason why he was able to go to school here, Korea's best performing arts high school. His parents refused to spend the money to let him go here so he used his smarts, got straight A's in middle school, and got a scholarship to go to SOPA. Ever since he was a kid he loved to dance, so he is blessed to be going to a school that could help him turn his dancing skills into a career. Maybe he could become an idol.
"They probably don't like the fact that poor commoners are going to their school." Tae grumbled angrily as he wiped the sleep from his eyes, barely focusing on Mr. Oh's lesson. Taehyung also got into SOPA with a scholarship, his family was unable to afford the fees for him to go here so he got in with his good grades. Taehyung is someone Jimin would call a natural genius. He doesn't need to be taught how to do something to know how to do it. Taehyung has a thing for falling asleep in class while Jimin takes notes diligently and when Tae wakes up, he takes a look at Jimin's notes and understands the standard immediately. He's definitely gifted for sure.
"Then don't pay attention to them Tae." Jimin let out kindly to his best friend, offering a small smile to make Taehyung feel better.
"You, my friend, are right." Taehyung positioned his arms on his desk to assure max comfort and lied his head down upon them, letting sleep take over him. Jimin chuckled and went back to taking notes so that his friend would be able to look over them after his nap.
