Chapter 5

*time skip to after lesson*

[Jeongyeon's POV]

I waited for Nayeon outside her class while using my phone.

When I heard the sound of chairs dragging on the floor, I know that their lesson has ended.

Students start to exit from the class and I saw Nayeon.

I went to her and we chatted as we walked out of the gate.

"Let me send you home." I said and she shook her head.

"It's fine." Nayeon said but I insisted so she told me her address.

We hop in my car and I start driving to her house.

Throughout the car ride, we chat about our hobby, interests, personality, our dreams and lastly, our ideal type.

When we reached, she got off the car and thanked me for sending her home.

I smiled to her and watched her enter her house before driving back home.

When I reach home, I saw Chaeyoung smiling widely while typing.

"Hey, what are you smiling at?" I asked.

Chaeyoung then showed me the picture and it shows a girl wearing a dress but her face wasn't in the picture.

"And?" I asked.

"I can't believe it perfectly fit her. I happens to see this dress when I was walking around the mall a few days ago. I decided to buy her this dress as a gift and hope that she can wear this when we meet up and it perfectly fits her. Man, I'm so happy!" Chaeyoung said and hugged me.

"Woah, woah... Calm down man... Do you really like her so much?" I asked and Chaeyoung hummed while thinking.

"I won't say that I like her." Chaeyoung said and I raised my eyebrows.

"Then you're just fooling with her?" I asked and Chaeyoung shook his head.

"Nope. I love her." Chaeyoung said and I smiled.

"Glad to know that you find your happiness." I said.

After that, I went back to my room and went to rest.

The next day

I send Nayeon to college and we chat a lot.

The day went by as per normal and Nayeon and I met up after school and went out together.

We got to know each other better and I got to say that she's a nice girl.

As the day passed by, we become best friends.

We chatted a lot and we become very close.

But still, I love Momo.

It won't change my heart and nothing will change my heart.

When I am at the hallway with Nayeon, we are flirting with each other as a joke like our daily routine.

Suddenly, I felt someone pull me and dragged me away.

When I realize what is going on, it was Momo that dragged me away.

She pulled me to the rooftop and closed the door.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I should be asking you, what are you doing?" Momo asked while crossing her arms up to her chest.

"Talking with Nayeon. Moreover, I don't want to talk to you. Later, I will be betrayed again." I said and turned away.

"Jeongyeon, I'm sorry... I was drunk and I didn't know what was I saying. I think that's when I say out your past... I'm sorry..." Momo said and I can hear that she is guilty about this.

I then turn around and look at her.

"It's okay..." I said and she looked up.

Guess I just have this soft spot for her.

"But why are you so close with her?" Momo asked.

"Is that what you care the most?" I asked and Momo kept silence.

"Because I like being close with her. Is there a problem?" I asked and Momo looked down again.

"Can you distance yourself from her? I don't really like her..." Momo said.

"And who are you to tell me distance away from her?" I asked.

"..." Momo kept silence.

Just as I was about to turn around and walk away, I felt Momo pull my hand and stopped me.

I pull away from her and turn around.

"Momo, if your boyfriend see this, he's going to beat me up again." I said and she suddenly hugged me.

"I'm sorry Jeongyeon-ah... Please forgive me... And also, please stay away from Nayeon. I know it's too late when I realize that I like you too... But, I really hope that we can give each other a chance." Momo said.

"But what if J-Hope know about us? I don't want to suffer another beating." I said but Momo shook her head.

"He won't. Even if he realize, he can't do anything." Momo said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because we already broke up." Momo said and I looked at her.

She broke the hug and look at me as well.

"I told him that I like someone else and of course he didn't know who is it." Momo said and I smiled.

"Really? You like me too?" I asked and she looked down while nodding.

"But I can't stay away from Nayeon just like this. I need sometime to get clear to her. If not, you try to get close to her." I said and she kept silence.

After a few seconds, I looked at her and she pouted.

"But I don't want to know her. She seems like she want you to be her boyfriend." Momo said.

"I know that she like me." I said and Momo widened her eyes.

"What? That gives you more reason to stay away from her." Momo said and I smiled.

"But now, she like another guy now." I said.

"Huh?" Momo asked while looking at me confusingly.

"She like a guy called Minhyuk at class 3A." I said.

"Really?" Momo asked and I nodded.

"Now, Hirai Momo, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked and she nodded.

I smiled and hugged her tightly.

We hugged for a few seconds before breaking the hug.

We then stared into each other's eyes and moved down to her lips.

Slowly, I started leaning forward and she realize my action and closed her eyes.

When I felt her breath on my skin, I closed my eyes and when our lips touched, I feel like I'm flying in the sky.

It was just a short and sweet kiss so after a few seconds, we broke apart and leaned on each other's forehead.

"Saranghae." I said and she smiled.

"Nodu saranghae." Momo said.

Later, we went back to class together.
