This fic is dedicated to a number of people!
I would like to start by dedicating it to:

Rocketthebunny
Zebra_party
Sineadwritesphanfics
Shoeyphanforever
Leahgrace_xo
Tallbookworm
Foreverbeingabandkid
Youtubersourheroes
Notepadhalffullx
Lifeinmybones

and I would love to go on forever about why it is dedicated to them but I will just say that they have left a lot of lovely comments that really helped to make me smile (see the page before this fic if you're wondering what I'm on about) and I just really love you all lots and I hope you really enjoy this oneshot and ah I love you all so much I feel like you're real friends rather than people that comment on my shitty stories c;

Three of the characters in this fic are based on real people! (Well, I mean Dan and Phil are real people but shush)
So this story is also dedicated to Megan, Sydney and Hannah! I hope you like how you're characters turn out c:

No warnings/triggers really just just a teeny mention of violence/crying and lots of fluff for (late) Halloween c: enjoy!

"Hey Phil," Sydney said sitting down besides her friend.

"Hey." Phil mumbled back nodding in her direction but keeping his iridescent blue eyes trained on the boy dressed all in black sat on his bed.

"You're not supposed to be here are you?" Sydney asked crossing her legs and brushing her blonde hair back from her face.

Phil finally tore his eyes away and directed his gaze in her direction.

"Neither are you technically," he pointed out "but I know you won't tell anyone." He said hopefully and she rolled her eyes at him.

"Only because I'm such a good friend." She muttered and he smiled at her.

"You are.." He mumbled distractedly his eyes flitting back to the boy with the soft brown hair who had now got his X box out and was playing on it with great interest.

"So as I'm such a good friend, you can tell me what you're doing here can't you?" Sydney pushed and Phil sighed.

"I don't know... I was just drawn to him for some reason. More that I've been drawn to anyone in my 1246 years of afterlife." Phil confided.

"Can he see you?" Sydney asked curiously and Phil shook his head.

"I don't know maybe... I've only been in his room a few times and every time I've been there I've made myself invisible or he's been asleep."

Sydney snorted out a laugh and poked Phils creamy skin accusingly.

"You're such a creeper!" She laughed but she stopped when she saw the look on his face.

"Do you think he's the one that will help you cross over?" She asked more seriously.

"Honestly? I don't know. But I'm happy to wait and watch over him for a while and figure it out." Phil said tenderly, a tiny smile creeping into his face as he watched the boy named Dan, with the soft brown hair, dressed all in black, yawn and run his hand through his hair.

Sydney sighed. "Don't get yourself in trouble Phil. I've heard that hell fucking sucks..." She joked but her voice had a serious undertone.

"I won't." Phil promised turning to look her in the eyes. Sydney smiled and gave his hand a squeeze before disappearing into thin air.
