Chapter 11🌧

Wednesday, Nov 20th
9:30a.m.

Right now, I'm sitting in my car in front the doctors office because my appointment is at 10. I'm nervous, scared, happy, sad. I'm a bunch of emotions at once. I don't wan this to be that niggas baby. I can't. I can't do it. Yesterday I found out I was raped by my "mothers" boyfriend. She thinks I seduced him because she is so stuck up his ass and believes anything he says.

I was just sitting in my car thinking. At 9:50 I got out my car and into the doctors office and signed in then went take my seat. A few minutes a later a nurse lookin lady came out and called my name.

"Ms. Carson.!" She stood looking around. I stood up and walked towards her. "Are you Ms. Carson?" She asked with a small smile.

"Yes."

"Hi. I'm Dr. Baliro and your here for the pregnancy test.?" She asked looking me up and down.

"Umm, is your mother parking?" She looked behind me.

"Huh. Oh Umm No. I didn't come here with anyone." I said nonchalant.

"I'm sorry Ms. Carson, but you need an adult with you."

"I am the adult. I'm 18." I told her. She looked shocked.

"I'm sorry. I thought you was like 15 or 16. You don't look 18."

"It's alright. It's probably because of my height and face. People say I have a baby type face." I giggled a little.

"Alright. Follow me."

I followed her to the back and into one of the rooms. I sat on the lil bed and she started to talk to me about if I was pregnant. What my plans are gonna be.

"Alright, I need you to pee in this cup and I'll be back to get it. The bathroom is right there." She said leaving the room. I just nodded my head.

When I was done, I wash my hands really good and dried them then got the mini hand sanitizer out my bag and sanitized my hands. I then grabbed a couple napkins and picked up the cup. When she came back in she grabbed the cup and said she will be back with the results in a few.

After like 15 minutes, I was gonna go because I had to get going. I had another place to be. Just as I was packing my stuff up Dr. Baliro came back in.

"Oh your leaving? I said I was coming back." She said kinda awkward like.

"I was going to. Because I have another appointment to get to and I don't wanna be late." I told her.

"Well Ima give it to you straight. Your 1 month and 5 days pregnant. And I case this wasn't good news, we also tested you for anything and you came back negative for everything. So your free if any diseases."

"Wow. Ima be a mom. I can't believe it. Looks like I have a lot of work to start doing." I said trying to keep back the tears and everything I was feeling inside. I was pregnant and didn't know who it was for.

"So here is a bag of your prenatal vitamins and some medicine for nausea. Are there any questions?" She asked. I was low key to ask her the question, because I didn't wan her to see me as a hoe or anything but I just asked her.

"Umm actually yes. Is there anyway I can get a DNA test this early in my pregnancy or do I have to wait the full 9 months?" She look taken back a bit.

"Umm Can I ask why?" She said politely

"Yes, when I took the home pregnancy test, my  "boyfriend" found them and said that he didn't believe that the baby was his, that's if I really was pregnant." I lied.

She nodded her head. "Well not right now, but we can when you make like 3 months. All we need is the daddy or suppose to be daddy's DNA and we can do it." I nodded to insure her I was listening. "But I have to tell you, it cost a lot of money. $500 to be precise."

"I can afford that. So when do I come back?"

"Well in like 3 more weeks you will be 2 months. So then?"

I nodded my head. "Okay what day is good for you?"

"Hold up. Let me check." I went to my phone calendar and checked. "Umm December 15th is fine with me."

"Oh great your exact 2 month mark. Okay I will set that up and see you in three weeks Ms. Carson." She left out the room.

I grabbed my belongings and the pregnancy stuff and left. When I got to my car, all I could think is how am I gonna tell Ace. I started to car and drove off to Ace house. If I'm going to tell him. I might as while tell him now and get it over with.

11:35a.m.

I got to Ace and was so fucking nervous. What is he gonna think? Actually I know what he is gonna think, because he already thinks something going on between me and Maleek. When really we just friends and I work for him. And he flirts with me a lot. And we kissed like 1 or 2 times, but there is literally nothing between us. Wow, even I wouldn't believe me.

Just as I was about to pull out his driveway, he came outside to greet me. I guess he seen me outside for a while. I sighed and got myself together for whatever was gonna happen.
