Chapter 13🌧

Same Day
4:00p.m.

We finally got to Ace house. It was about to go down. King got out the car and I got out with him. We walked to Ace front door and knocked. Well King banged on his door. All this was really unnecessary. I wasn't bout to waste my time and energy on a nigga who won't listen to what I have to say because he think I was cheating.

After King constantly banging on Ace door, he finally answered. He was half naked and looked like he just got out the shower or something. He was sweating hard.

"We need to talk now.!" King semi yelled to Ace.

I just looked at Ace. I damn sure wasn't gon speak first. Yes I'm that stubborn.

"Ight wassup. And why she here?" He said looking me up and down. He licked his lips while looking at me up and down.

Just as K was about to say something, I heard the shower upstairs turn on.

Does he have someone here? Nah we didn't even breakup. We just got into an argument like how we always do. He wouldn't.

"Why you kick my sister out?" King said getting straight to the point.

Ace mugged me then looked at K. "She come to me saying she pregnant and shit then as I'm happy and everything, she wan say it might or might not be mines. Tf you mean Why I kick yo sister out!!" He said starting to grow mad as he spoke.

"She has a reason for that but you would know if you fucking listen!!!" King now was up in Ace face.

While they during the arguing. I start to hear the shower get turned off and foot steps. So I get up to walk towards the stairs. Soon as I get to the stairs I see feet, so I quick run back to the sofa.

"Look I'm not bout to be with her if she having someone else baby-"Ace said

My heart broke y'all and I don't even know why. He won't even give it a chance to know if the baby is his or not. I touched my face and I had tears forming. I wiped my face before they could see.

"-She basically cheated on me, but it's ight because I got my girl."

That really broke me.

That's when I finally seen the girl. She was in one of Ace shirts and her hair was wet. She walked over to Ace and was smirking at me. It was his ex Leana.

Wow. I can't believe it. I wasn't even about to do this,but she smirking like she did something. She bout to see. Right in the middle of they argument. I cut Ace off.

"It don't matter what you say Ace. I know for a fact that this baby is yours." I straight lied. "And when I make three months Ima be back for that DNA. Then we gon see who gon be looking stupid."

I dug in King pocket for his keys and turned around to walk towards the door. Soon as I was outside, tears started falling. I have cried soooo much in this one month. I continued to walk to the car and got in then waited til King came out.

After being in the car for like a minute, I see Ace new "boo" walking over.

4:45p.m.

So here we are King still yelling and screaming about his sister not cheating on me and that I should listen blah blah blah.

The girl cheated on me and he know it. He just mad cause it's his sister. When she left and went outside. Leana left to go after her to. I was kinda suspicious about that but Leana not like that. She prolly just gonna ask her some questions.

"You done yet?" I said nonchalant to King.

I was over him and his sister shit now. He my boss and all but I'm not about to let him be all up in my face bout his sister when I know wassup.

"Bruh. How could you do her that when she was beat and maybe raped by Jennifer's fucking boyfriend!? How could you say that sh-" King was so fucking heated, you could see his face turn red and he kinda dark skin so you know he pissed off.

"Wait what are you talking about?" I know he not lying. K wouldn't lie about this type of shit. "What do you mean, she was beat and maybe raped?"

He looked at me as if he just fucked up.

"Ahh fuck. She didnt tell you? DAMN! She gon kill me." I said tapping his pockets for his keys like he was leaving.

"Hold up bruh. What tf you mean she was beat and maybe raped K!?" I was now mad because he avoiding my question a lil.

"That's not my place man. She was suppose to tell you." He said walking towards the door. I catch him before he could open the door.

"Man King, stop playing. What the fuck happened?" He sighed then looked at me.

"You know Kareem?"

I nodded because I did know who he was. He was Myra mom boyfriend and he was a small drug dealer in the hood. He wasn't big because he kept going to jail because he deal his own stuff. Stupid ass.

"One day I left Myra at home to go get some food because she was hungry. On my way back I got a call from her telling me that he was trying to hurt her kill her stuff like that. I was like who? Who? And she said Kareem. I told her stay on the phone. She was talking to me then all of a sudden she stopped and I heard struggling." Tears was filling his eyes.

If there's one thing I know about King, it's that he loves his sister to death and he don't wan nothing to ever happen to her. So I know he was pissed.

"I got to the house and ran upstairs to where they was and he had her choked up slamming her against the fucking wall. THE FUCKING WALL A!!!!" King was balling up his fist.

"I ran and tackled him and was just punch him and punching him. I then pulled my gun out and Myra stopped me talking bout some he ain't worth it." I let it go, so I could be with my sister but I'm my mind I have been finding a way to set him up."

I can't believe she didnt tell me. I'm suppose to be her boyfriend, well ex now. Ughhh what have I done.

"Wait how was she raped.?" He mentioned the beating but no rape.

"After everything. I made her talk to me. She said one night she ate and blah blah blah, then fell asleep but didnt remember falling asleep. And the next morning she woke up in the tub fully naked, but she brushed it off and as she was getting ready to leave to go to work, I think that's what she said. He knocked on her door and she didn't answer then he just walked in and he was hitting her and tryna pull up her dress and shit. And he was telling her stuff that made her think that but she keeps denying it, but I know he did it. I just don't have proof. My gut telling me he did it tho. And I always go with my gut."

When he was finally done, I felt so bad. Not only for what I did to Myra but for what I'm bout to do to Leana. But fuck Myra might not take me back. Damn I fucked up.

"She neva told me. My reaction would have been totally different if I would have knew. That's prolly what she was trying to tell me." I said very sincere.

"Yea. I gotta go before she get irritable. I still gotta buy her some McDonalds that I made her drop and shit."

We did our dap and shit and he left. Just as he left. Leana walked in.

"Le we need to talk."

I know for a fact that this is about to go left but hey I gotta get it over with.
