Sollux tried to stand up but eridan held onto the end of his jeans, still looking down. "Eridan please.." both of the jocks laughed as sollux tried his best to get up but at the same time trying to let eridan go of him. He knows that eridan doesn't want him to get hurt anymore. "You both can't do anything. Just stay down with him!" One of the jocks punched sollux as for revenge for their leader being punched out by him a while ago. "That's what you get!" The other kept eridan down as the second jock keeps beating up sollux. He's too weak for using his psionics. He couldn't even try at least but thank goodness someone spots the jocks doing this to them. "Hey you assholes! Didn't we tell you to leave!?" Cronus and kankri comes over to separate the jocks between the beat up boy's. Kankri helps out Cronus as he picks both of the boys up from the sidewalk and slowly setting them down on the door steps. Sollux is knocked out and carried him as he tries to keep eridan up. "You better stay away from my brother or you'll see more of me!!" Yelling at the boys running off with bruises and bloody noses. "My god..this is fucking terrible." Eridan opens his eyes a bit and sees  nothing just yet but he closes his eyes again to relax his eyes but everything went black.

Hours have passed. The party was already over and feferi rushed over to Eridan's house. Entering the room with both of the boys passed out and recovering from their injuries. Eridan began to slowly open his eyes to see feferi holding his hand, "F-feferi?.." her opens shot open and leaned over to hug him,l with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry I wasn't there..p-protecting you..and sollux." Eridan didn't really remember what happened hours ago but he looked over to his side, seeing sollux just laying there and his back against his. He doesn't know of what's happening and what caused them to be both in bed. "What exactly happened?" "From what I heard from your brother, you were on the ground being pushed down onto the ground and sollux getting beat up by one of the jocks for I suppose..revenge." Feferi sighs and puts her head on the bed next to him, "but sollux was already beaten up by I don't know who.." she starts crying and eridan looks at her direction and kisses her hand. "You don't need to explain m-" "he almost died eridan." Eridan's eyes go wipe open and feels sick to his sick from that. "I really need to rest more.." she nods her head and kisses his forehead, saying 'goodbye' leaving him behind in bed with Sollux.
"Sol..please hear me. Please be awake." Curling up towards his body and holding onto him tight just to give him protection and for appreciating him. A few hours ago have passed again and it's close to midnight by this time. Cronus opening the door to check up on them and sees the boys still sleeping peacefully but once closing the door on them, sollux began to wake up from the door clicking from the hinges. Rubbing his eyes from exhaustion then feeling the sheets but noticing his body feels hot by another person as if they were holding onto him. Eridan. After looking over his shoulder, he smiles a little and he shift his body to at least wake up eridan. Eridan slowly wakes up as well and notices the movement of sollux, knowing he's up now. "Eridan..you're holding onto me very tightly." He didn't notice that he's still holding him and let's go, "sorry about that.." both of the tired boys are awake in bed in silence until eridan now speaks up. "Listen sollux, all those things I said when y'know..beat you up..um.." sollux turns his head toward his direction and listens. "I hope you understand, I helped you understand me-" "Eridan I already knew you throughout my life but when you told me those types of feelings..well I don't know how to react to them honestly." "But you stayed calm for like no reason." Sollux looks away and mumbles a little. "What? Dude I can't hear you." Eridan tried to lean a bit closer to hear him clearly and he heard him, talking to himself. "What should I tell him?" A little nudge makes me jolt and causing him to whine in pain for awhile. "W-why are you leaned over?" Eridan gets noticed and blushes softly, "w-well I thought you were saying something to me." Sollux shakes his head 'no' and the boy noticed he bit his bottom lip. "Hey sol, remember when this type of thing happened? Like as kids." Sollux giggles softly and nodding his head then turning his body over to face the boy. "I remember everything eridan. So you don't have to tell me." Both of the boys smiled at each other and sollux looks down, "eridan why do you think I'll be jealous of you and the d-dumb shit you do to me?" Eridan gulps at that question and responses clearly, "I mean you are a teaser so I guess that's why." "I'm not a teaser to you anymore eridan. I'm always like that but I changed after the incident.." "oh..well I guess it was fun teasing you?" "Why did you add a question mark to that answer?" Sollux now gets a hint out of it, "wait a minute! You were gay before weren't you?" Eridan looks down as sollux now getting the hint, "yes?" "sp you don't think it's a bit weird that you just get away with things without feferi were getting a clue?" "i don't know man, i just do it okay?" eridan covers his face with his faces and sighs in exhaustion. He felt the bed move and uncovered his face to see sollux tried to get up, his head looks a little slanted at the point he'd seem to manage to get up properly. "I should probably get going by now plus y'know my brother." Eridan sits up and pulls on his shirt, "D-don't!" turning back to face the boy with an oddly new expression. "I mean..my brother kind of said to yours about you staying over." Sollux nods with that and sits back down, "Um..do you have a basket to where i put my clothes?" "Yeah, it's just over there. Here let me take it." Both of the boys get up and the boy notices sollux is having a hard time focusing on where he is going, his vision isn't so good at this point. Pulling on the light, sollux covers his face and hid under the sheets, "Sollux, are you okay?" "my eyes aren't too good at this point man.." "sorry about that, i'll be careful next time." Pulling the light again to turn it off, sollux pointed quickly to his clothes and Eridan took care of it. Returning back to Sollux, his body is shaking and cold. He feels his body gently and sees the bruises, cuts and blood marks on his face to his arms and legs. "I-i'm so sorry about me...I didn't have to bring all my anger out..on-That's why you stayed calm and didn't do anything! You wanted me to bring it out all on you, are you kinding me?! i could've hurt you more than i would!!" Sollux reveals himself out of the covers and covers eridan's mouth, just to keep things silent and not ruining the moment he's about to make. "Shush..i know it was stupid of me to do..but i wanted to hear everything." Eridan has tears coming down his face, feeling as if he's complete shit for hurting his enemy/childhood crush like that. "I want to control..e-everything." Sollux wipes his tears and brings his face closer to his, turning it over for the boy to kiss his cheek. "I don't hate you. Plus let's not blame ourselves...let's just agree it's always been our faults that we keep getting into the most annoying argues and fights..I- i hate seeing you get hurt. And you hate seeing ME get hurt because we, together really do care for each other and we were blinded by..by-" Eridan rubs the boy's face and brings their faces close to each other but Sollux stops him. "Eridan. We can't do this anymore. Well, you can't but i'm not dating Aradia so still, you can't just do that my friend. Your girlfr-" Eridan puts his finger on the boy's nonstop moving lips and removes his finger to where the point the boy stopped talking and stared at him. "I want you."  Sollux tried to say something else but extremely difficult when Eridan is now kissing him, passionately for a long time.
