"Turn left in 5 minutes"
"Can you be anymore obnoxious Siri"
If I have to hear her voice one more time I might have to opt for a vehicle that's not so high tech. That would be nice? To live with out the constant worry of what other might think of me.

Looking over to the clock it reads 12:37. I set a mental reminder to go home and finish what I had not done yet at the office.

"I need a vacation" I say to my subconscious in my head.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH"

My car comes to a screeching halt as I see a young woman, who's in her, at-least, early 20's running right in front of me giving me a down right fright!

Her eyes pleaded at me to help her. Save her even. She took off fast before I could even roll my window down.

I quickly took my keys out of my car and got out. I don't know who she was but she may need my help I thought to myself.

When I looked around she was no where to be seen. The only thing around was the swaying trees and the crisp air. There's no way that girl wasn't cold and scared, she barely wore anything.

I hear a slight rumble so I go off into the woods to seek out the girl in distress. She couldn't of gone far right?

Leave it to me to have to save someone. Maybe this is god trying to tell me to get out more, maybe enjoy the outside even? The office can get quit stuffy once in a while.

Damn! I forgot my phone in the car.

So even if I do find this girl, what am I going to do? Take her home and nurture her back to health? I laugh at myself for even thinking that.

It's been 30 minutes and no sight of her and it's colder than Antarctica out here. Maybe she doesn't want to be found.

Jesus Christ! Now that I think about it... who was she running from. Or what was she running from. I don't even have my gun to protect me, let's just hope it's not a bear...

20 more minutes pass and I'm just about ready to give up. I wish that girl luck but I can't be out here another minute. It's colder than a.... I don't know it's just very cold!

*snap*

I turn around and look to where that noise was made.

"Hello"

No response.

I'm done. I start walking back where I came from. It probably won't be another 30 plus minutes until I get back to my car.

All I can think about is how cold it is until something to the left catches my attention. Is that... wait that's the girl!

I slowly walk up to her body. She's not moving, like she was when I first saw her, she's just laying there.

I bend down and get on my knees and slowly put my hand to her cheek, her body is ice cold... I hope to the gods she's not dead!

My hands travel down to her neck and I can't find anything but a very weak pulse. So she's not dead but she's on the edge.

I pick her frail body up and carry her until I find my car parked on the outskirts of the wooded area.

She's cold and thin. It seems as if she's been running for awhile. Her hair is wind blown and her plump lips cracked. Yet she's beautiful and her cheeks showed the ever little blush to them. You could obviously tell she's had it rough.

For some odd reason the thought of someone hurting her made me mad, almost infuriated that someone would wanna put this angelic creature into harms way.

After strapping her in and starting the car I turned the heat onto full blast to try and bring some more color onto her face.

Whom ever she is I want to help her and make sure she can continue her life without worry and pain. From what I can tell she deserves it the most.

The car ride is short and hot and before I can get out I can't help but look at her. Truly look at the strong girl who's passed out in my drivers seat. I can't help but look at her hair. It goes right below her shoulders. It's straight and dirty blonde.

The way her chest moves ever so slightly by the second gives me shivers.

Before I know it 12 minutes go by and all I did was look at her. I need to get her inside and under some covers by the fire.

I climb out the car and get her out as well. It takes me a second to get to the front door and I'm already shivering. This winter is surly unforgiving.
