the late evening sun set over a picturesque LA, a cold breeze hitting the civilians.

jimin, yoongi and ha-eun joined namjoon and seokjin in the now closed cat café, watching the sun set around them from the large windows.

yoongi sat with ha-eun in his lap, letting the cats collide with his legs. both ha-eun and yoongi ran their hands through the soft fur of a cat as they pass, purring as they go. the pair giggled as the fur tickled them lightly.

jimin watched from the table where he sat, namjoon watching over too.

he focused on the soft gaze jimin gave yoongi and ha-eun.

"so have you spoken about adoption?" namjoon speaks, breaking the silence.

"yeah, we have." jimin responds in such a calm way, eyes still softly locked on the scene .

namjoon never expected such a response, he was surprised.

"wow, jimin?... really?"

"yeah... it's all i want now."

"you sound so... mature," namjoon says uncomfortably.

jimin scoffs a laugh, "what? what's wrong with that?" he says, turning to face namjoon now.

"no, no... i guess i get to feel how you felt when seokjin and i adopted the twins. well at least started talking about adoption," namjoon reasoned. "i'm not used to being the unnerved friend, it's unsettling," he laughs.

"we're all grown up..." jimin sighs, smiling. "it's weird, i never thought being an adult could be fun?"

"alright gays! are we doing this or what?!" hoseok yells dramatically as he throws the café doors open wide, his grin just as wide.

"oh yeah, he's still a child," namjoon jokes.

yoongi stands carefully and walks ha-eun back to the table, giving her to jimin.

"thank you angel," jimin says, kissing yoongis cheek lightly.

blushing, yoongi runs over to his brother and hugs him tightly.

"you're back!" he says excitedly.

"really?! i am?!" hoseok gasps, patting himself down to see if he was there, jokingly of course.

"wow... so funny." yoongi rolls his eyes, walking back over to jimin.

"namjoon!" hoseok screeches, arms flying up in excitement.

"hello hoseok," namjoon replies like the adult he is.

"how was the trip?" namjoon asks, being a polite friend. really, he missed hoseok so much, he's just people awkward.

"oh! amazing!! i got to see all these cool places and watch yugyeom preform! best time ever." he says with high energy, excitement radiating from him.

"how is yugyeom?" yoongi asks, listening in.

"resting... thank god! he works so hard, this break is so well deserved."

"we missed you hoseok." namjoon says with such sincerity and care.

they did, all of them. hoseok brought such an amazing light with him, no matter where. he was always so caring and bright, he makes everyone smile.

having hoseok back in his life, namjoon, got to see the real hoseok when they spoke separately. they spoke stress and pain. namjoon knew making other people smile made hoseok smile, so namjoon smiled everyday. he did have many things to smile about.

he often looks at hoseok with overwhelming emotions, happiness. from such a dark place, to now. hoseok used his pain to make beautiful music and make a name from himself, with out knowing namjoon watched hoseok grow.

"namjoon?" jimin snaps his fingers in front of namjoons eyes, awaking from his trance.

"hmm?" he responds.

"we're gonna do the plan now," yoongi speaks.

"okay,"

once again the café door opens, seulgi walks in hesitantly.

"hi!" yoongi calls happily, petting a cat that cradled in his arms.

"hello yoongi," she smiles, sighing, "it's a beautiful night," she comments.

"it is! i love this type of weather," yoongi adds, smiling.

"what's up?" she says after a minute, both now sitting.

"oh, i just wanted to talk... see how you are," yoongi says honestly, leaving out the sneaking part.

"that's very sweet of you, thank you," a smile breaks out on her lips, a gentle one.

"can i take your bag and jacket? i'm only gonna hang them up," yoongi offers.

"no one else is hear, so sure... nothing will go missing," she jokes.

yoongi fake laughs, panicking slightly. "of course not!" he grins, taking the items and placing them strategically for phase two.

"tea?" yoongi offers.

"oh, yes, that would be nice," she accepts, "thank you,"

yoongi heads to the kitchen where the others waited, "send the cat," he says.

a small calico cat wonders out from no where and straight to seulgi. she sees it and smiles, adoring this breed of cat, luckily, the cat was the most friendly and needy, always craving attention.

yoongi then places seulgis phone on the counter.

"if you already have the phone... why was the cat needed?" namjoon asks.

"she's sad... the cat would cheer her up, maybe de-stress her," yoongi speaks softly. "i do care about her."

"it's not her fault and she isn't evil, i just want the best for her," yoongi adds and everyone agrees.

"okay, tea is ready," seokjin speaks, bringing two cups of tea and cat shaped biscuits out.

"thanks," yoongi smiles, leaving them after.

"so? what now? that's literally all we have to do," hoseok says confused.

"now, we have to find her and get her here," seokjin explains, already picking the phone up.

"no password?" seokjin notes, what an odd thing.

"her parents forced her to take it off, then my parents reinforced it," jimin speaks, holding ha-eun tightly to his chest. she was tired.

"yikes," all three speak at the same time.

"done?" yoongi asks, straight after he said goodbye to seulgi.

"done," jimin assures, "she's getting the first flight here."

"did you put her phone back?" yoongi asks.

silence.

"crap," hoseok says.

cut to yoongi frantically running down the street to catch up with her.
