The 360 Of My Life

Chapter 1

There I stood looking in the mirror, nobody is ever going to like me. I'm just an ugly, unwanted, geek. The only people who have ever paid any attention to me are my two friends; Claire and Ben. Ben doesn't like me that way I'm just a friend, if that. Claire has been there for me since the second grade. When Ben came into my life I fell in love. 
        It was his smile, his hair, his eyes, his personality, everything about him. He's never felt that way about me. He's too busy liking Shawna Weatherson. Her perfectly straight, long, blonde beautiful hair. Her sea blue eyes that shine below her long, mascara free eyelashes. I never thought anyone could be perfect until freshman year.
        The first day of high school three  and a half  years ago to be exact. I got off the bus and scramble to find Claire. Then I  saw her she was wearing a pastel green dress with a small leather belt that she picked up from our favorite boutique at the Riverside shopping mall the week before. "Hey you" I yelled towards Claire.
  "You look great" she said while trying to catch her breath from running over to me. I had a pretty good feeling she was lying. I was wearing my new flower covered blouse and my navy blue skirt with some off white flats. "Your lying" I said in a joking yet serious tone. I couldn't believe how big the school was. Hundreds of forest green lockers lined the never ending hallways. Hundreds maybe even thousands of unfamiliar faces passed by me.  How am I going to make it here, I thought to myself. "Well I guess I'll see you in third period" Claire said in an assuring tone. "Alright goodbye" I said nervously.
        On my way to my first period homeroom joined class. I bumped into a six foot two guy with spiked brown hair, amazing hazel eyes and the whitest smile
known to man. "Oh sorry I didn't see you there" I said in a shaky voice.
       "It's alright. I'm Ben.  You must be Kelsi"
    "How did you know?"
    " It's on the schedule. You know the one that's right in front of you."
     " Oh yeah" I laughed trying not to feel super dumb.
      " Come on let's go to class, your in my first period."
      "Alright great"
   Then I followed the tall new charming crush of mine to Mrs.Walkers AP English class.
