I didn't actually manage to watch most of the movie as a high percent of it was Freddie throwing bits of popcorn and hitting my neck from a few rows back where he and John sat, while John made kissing faces and motioned to Brian who was the only one really watching the movie.
The other percent I spent gazing at Brian. It was a dark theatre, but not dark enough, as if I could see Brian, he could probably see me. I just hoped he was to absorbed with the movie to notice me staring at him.
That might make sound like a creep, but I'm just a teenager with a tiny crush.
But every now and again he would turn to me and point to the screen, grinning, or frowning, sometimes I couldn't make out his facial expressions though.
I was glad I invited him as he appeared to be having a good time.
Sighing, and throwing a chunk of popcorn on the floor that had managed to get tangled in my hair, (thank you Freddie) I crossed my legs and looked at the screen.
My attention span was low at this point, so when Brian poked me on the shoulder I lazily looked over and saw what he was pointing at.
I stared up at where Freddie and John were and raised my eyebrows up in surprise.
❝Are they-?❞
❝Snogging.❞ Nodded Brian.
We both let out a howl of laughter that echoed through the whole room, but immediately shut up when a group of people hunched over in their seats yelled at us to be quiet.
❝Well it was about bloody time.❞ I muttered to Brian, which in response snickered quietly into the palm of his hand.
We both leaned back in our seats and looked back up at the flashing screen, it was that snogging scene which I didn't understand because didn't the guy cheat on her..? Anyway, I reached my hand out to grab a handful at popcorn (which I may or may not throw at Freddie) and Brian had done the same thing.
Our hands accidentally grabbed ahold of each together, to which Brian immediately let go off and dropped his hand onto his lap quickly.
I frowned a little, mostly because I was a bit disappointed that the guy I sorta fancied jumped back, or the other thought that I pondered on that was Brian maybe a guy who couldn't stand physical touch from another guy? like last night when I grabbed his hand?
Who was I kidding, Brian was straight, had a possible girlfriend and was totally not interested. Why would he be? I'm a pathetic teenager who is questioning their sexuality because of a guy he met not to long ago, I'm not sure what the ladies like about me.
It was just a single touch so I'm definitely overthinking this.
I put my hand on the armrest which was carrying our popcorn and was surprised to find to that Brian had laid his atop of mine.
Wait-what?
I swivelled my head around to see him just watching the movie, like we were supposed to do before the popcorn battles, the mocking, the snogging and the overthinking.
I relaxed and smiled to myself, his hand was nice and warm.
Tonight was a good night, I thought.

❝WHO FORGOT TO BRING THE FUCKING UMBRELLAS?!❞ Yelled Freddie as the four of us ran through the puddled streets and ducked under the cover of a balcony.
❝WELL SORRY, BUT I WAS IN A BIT OF A RUSH!❞ John screamed back, wringing out his sopping wet hair.
We had left the movie theatre, (me and Brian teasing Freddie and John) and the second we stepped foot outside into the dark and cold night, it began pouring down.
I would probably tell Freddie about how Brian and I held hands for the rest of the movie, but for now it was freezing, wet and he was in a bad mood.
❝Ladies, Ladies, please calm down.❞ I groaned, hugging myself as the cold wind picked up.
❝We could just wait here until the rain stopped?❞ Suggested Brian.
I looked up at the cloudy sky and realised this was not a passing shower.
I glanced over at him and shrugged.
It was a little way back to our dorm block, it was late and we had school tomorrow so I didn't exactly want to wait around under cover all night long.
Freddie must of read my mind because he said; ❝if we run fast enough we can dodge the rain.❞
John raised and eyebrow and flipped his still damp hair behind his back.
❝Seriously? That sounds like something Roger would say.❞ He said glaring at Freddie.
(I'm surprised they were making out a little while ago, but were now giving each mother the death stares.)
❝Hey!❞ I protested.
❝Ok, ok, let's get going before it rains even harder.❞ Sighed Brian, giving up on his idea.
Freddie and John nodded, jumping out from under the cover and and throwing their jackets over their heads as an attempt to keep the rain away.
All I had on was a thin jumper which I more wore for style than for actual warmth and protection, so when a harsh wind blew through me, I hugged my arms.
Brian looked over and took off his jacket.
❝Cold?❞ He asked.
❝Er-❞
❝Here,❞ He cut me off and wrapped his jacket it around me, I wanted it protest and insist I was alright, but Brian's jacket was nice and warm and smelled like him, cologne and vanilla shampoo.
I smiled up at him to which he replied with a grin.
Brian and I jogged back through the thundering rain and I couldn't help but smile when he slipped his hand around mine and held it the whole time until we reached the dorm block.

A/N: When I started this story I was all like; "aww this is going to be so fluffy and cute!" But now as I'm actually writing it I realise I have no idea what I'm doing :))
Also, I'm thinking of probably adding the Beatles, Elton John and David Bowie in here somewhere..?
