♕Rogers P.O.V♕
Did I think I might actually have a shot with Brian? He said before that he had a girlfriend, but then again, he said he didn't want to be with her. 'What about the fact he's probably straight?' I asked myself, walking down the hallway on my way back to my dorm.
That was a detail I completely forgot about, honestly, did I think I was going to make a guy fall in love with me who's not interested in guys? I mean, I'm not really interested in that many guys, only cute tall ones with a head full of curly hair.
At this point I was smiling and biting my lip just thinking about him, I didn't even need to look in the mirror to know I was blushing.
Fuck, I felt like a high school girl with a hopeless crush.
Sighing, I arrived at the door leading to my dorm room and rushed inside, grabbing a packet of instant soup (I bought probably a month ago), and a bottle of headache pills that were nearly empty. I didn't need anything else, right?
Before I could ponder on this any longer, I realised Brian could be fucking dying without me right now, so I ran a hand through my hair and set off back down the hallway.
When I reached his door, I bashed my fist against it, waiting, until Brian yelled; ❝It's unlocked Roger!❞
So I turned the knob and walked inside to find Brian shirtless, furrowing through his wardrobe to which I saw a shiny red guitar poking out of.
God, this was like every terrible romcom, what's next, a towel falling down his waist?
❝I bought soup.❞ I said, holding up the old packet of chicken flavoured soup. As a college student, my whole life revolved around instant food because even as a teenager (I'm actually an adult but 19 still has 'teen' on it) I still don't really know how to cook anything.
❝Oh you didn't need to bring that.❞ Brian sniffled, tugging on a shirt.
❝It's nothing, I probably wouldn't of eaten it anyway.❞ I shrugged, jumping on top of his bed and laying down.
Brian joined me on the bed, sighing and flopping atop a pillow, so that his curly hair was bouncing against my thigh.
❝Did I ever tell you what nice hair you have?❞ I grinned, running my fingers through his thick dark curls, I could smell the vanilla shampoo wafting off him and could probably smell it all day whilst playing with his hair.
❝I've actually been thinking of cutting it, I seem to resemble a poodle, don't I?❞ Brian chuckled, which was followed by a loud sneeze.
❝No, no, no! It's-cute and pretty.❞ I stammered, looking at Brian's brown eyes which was lingering on mine.
❝You think my hairs cute and pretty?❞ He smirked, raising and eyebrow.
❝Er-Yeah.❞ I flushed a deep red, and at this point my face was on the verge of purple as Brian moved closer, resting his head in my lap.
He looked up at me and our eyes locked, my face was getting hotter by the second, just waiting for Brian to say something.
❝You do too.❞ He said after a moment of us just staring into each others eyes.
❝Um, thanks, so-I'll make some soup then.❞ I got up breaking away from a moment that probably wasn't going to happen, (Brian had reluctantly lifted his head off my lap now) and snatched up the soup, searching through the tiny kitchens cupboards for a pot of sorts.
❝What type is it anyway?❞ He asked, propping himself up on his elbows.
❝Chicken, don't tell me you're vegan or something..?❞ I stopped what I was doing and swivelled around to face Brian.
❝No, just asking. Also, by the way, thanks for looking after me.❞
❝Like I Said before, it's all good Brian.❞ I nodded and fished out a large pot, filling it to the brim with water and pouring in the powder which I assumed would somehow turn into soup.
❝You should probably get some sleep after you have some soup, despite you're beautiful hair you still look like shit.❞ I added.
❝Oh how you flatter me.❞ Brian teased, rolling over into his back staring up at the ceiling.
Silence fell into the air, all I could really hear was the water bubbling and the faint noises of the busy city outside, Brian staying completely quiet.
❝How do I tell Chrissie I'm don't want to get back together.❞ He said after a while, me just stirring the hot pot that was sorta looking like soup and catching a glimpse at him out of the corner of my eye every now and again.
I bit my lip, I wasn't really the person that was good at giving at advice as I've never had a steady relationship that had lasted longer than sex, but Brian looked as though he need atleast something.
❝Well, just say;❝I don't want to get back together.❞ And that's that's.I said, not quite knowing what else to say.
❝You make it sound so easy roger, but I don't want to hurt her feelings. She's really lovely and doesn't deserve that." He sighed.
❝You guys have already been apart for sometime, so I'm sure she'll understand that the sparks not there. Just take her out for coffee or someplace and be totally chill with it."
❝Thanks roger, you're a great friend."
Friend.
❝Yup, no problem." I smiled, but my insides were screaming as Brian only really saw me as a friend, that's all, maybe we'd reach best friends one day but that's as high as we'd go.
Sighing I turned back to my helpless cooking of stirring the soup, just think about Brian, and how much I wanted to fall in love with him.

The rest of the day was spent as I planned, looking after Brian and making sure he felt better for tomorrow. The soup wasn't that bad and he was definitely looking a lot better by the time the sun had gone down.
Brian, I gotta go now but get some sleep and I'll see you tomorrow." I Said, slinging my bag back on my back.
Brian's roommate would probably be back soon and I had to get to sleep as tomorrow would be the start of many late nights and the stress of homework and exams breathing down my neck.
❝Alright, I'll see you tomorrow then, I'll try break up with Chrissie and be feeling a lot better." He grinned.
❝Good night Brian."
❝Sweet dreams roger."
