Later on, the Hogwarts Express is traveling through the countryside. Harry is in sitting alone in a train compartment, and Ron appears in the doorway.
Ron pov
Excuse me, do you mind? Everywhere else is full. I asked a boy with raven hair and glasses. I also couldn't find my sister to sit with so I had to go look for another.
"No, not at all." I'm Ron, by the way. Ron Weasley. "I'm Harry. Harry Potter. Are you related to the pretty redhead."
I go agape. So-so it's true? I mean, do you really have the...the... "The what?" Scar...?
"Oh" He lifts up his hair bangs to reveal it
Wicked. Yeah, she's my older sister Cassiopeia. "How is she older but I'm the same grade as you?" She was born 7 months before me. A trolley comes by the compartment, full of sweets. I really wish I had the money to get something.
"Anything off the trolley, dears?" I hold up my mushed slightly pathetic sandwich ok very pathetic sandwich. "No, thanks, I'm all set." She looks towards Harry awaiting his answer. "We'll take the lot!" He pulls out a handful of coins.
"Whoa!" I thought that's a lot of money.
A bit later, Harry and I are now sitting together eating bundles of sweets. My rat, Scabbers, is perched on my knee, a box over his head. I got the family rat while my sister got a snake. She had written Dumbledore asking to bring a snake. She has actually had the snake since her 9th birthday. Bill and Charlie got it for her which annoyed mom greatly. "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans?" Harry says in a question time towards me. "They mean every flavor! There are chocolate and peppermint, and there's also spinach, liver, and tripe. Cassiopeia and George swear they had gotten some bogey-flavored ones once!  Harry quickly takes the bean he was chewing out of his mouth. He picks up a blue and gold package "These aren't real chocolate frogs, are they?" No, it's just a spell. Besides, it's the cards you want. Each pack's got a famous witch or wizard. I got about 500 myself. Although my sister has more and some are very rare. Harry opens the package, and a chocolate frog jumps onto the window and climbs up. Watch it! The frog reaches the open gap in the window and jumps out. "Oh, that's rotten luck. They've only got one good jump in them, to begin with." I look up to see my sister. "Just came by to see how you are doing Ron making friends Ron?" Harry this is my older sister Cassiopeia. Where are you sitting? "Oh, just a friend I made at Diagon Alley." I could tell she wasn't saying the name. "I got Dumbledore!" He exclaims happily. "I got about 6 of him."
Harry looks at the card again, but Dumbledore has vanished. "Hey, he's gone!" "Well, you can't expect him to hang around all day, can you?" My sisters say with a big smile on her face. "Well, I better get back to my compartment bye." My sister waves goodbye and Scabbers squeaks happily as she leaves smiling. "This is Scabbers, by the way, pathetic, isn't he? Although he is terrified of Cassiopeia because of her snake.
"A little. Also, your sister has a pet snake did she bring it?" Yeah, that's why he was freakin out the snake was actually around her neck as we were talking to her. Oh, my brother, Fred gave me a spell as to turn him yellow. Want to see? "Yeah!"
Ahem. Sun- But I am cut off by a bushy-haired girl entering swiftly. She introduces herself as Hermione Granger.
"Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one." No. I say. "Oh, are you doing magic? Let's see then." She asks very excited to see what I'm about to do.
"Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow!" I zap Scabbers, but nothing happens. I shrugged not really caring that much. "Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not very good, is it? Of course, I've only tried a few simple spells myself, and they've all worked for me. For example..." Hermione goes over points her wand at his glasses and Harry tenses "Oculus Reparo." The tape on the nose-band vanishes, repairing his glasses as if they were good as new. Harry takes them off, amazed. "That's better, isn't it? Holy Cricket, you're Harry Potter. ...and you are...? I'm...Ron Weasley. "Pleasure. You two better change into your robes. I expect we'll be arriving soon." She gets up and leaves then comes back and looks at me. "You've got dirt, on your nose, by the way, did you know? Just there. She points to the dirt mark on My nose. I scratch my nose, slightly... very embarrassed.
...

It is nighttime at Hogsmeade station, the train blows its whistle and pulls into outside the station. Hagrid walks along the side aisle, with a lantern. People, in their robes, begin pouring out of the train.

Ron pov
I see my sister walk out with someone who I hate our whole family. Draco Malfoy Lucius Malfoy's son. The Weasley's and Malfoy's have never gotten along even many generations before us we didn't. How she got along with him I could not comprehend at all.
Harry pov
"Right, then! First years! This way, please! Come on, now, don't be shy! Come on now, hurry up!" Hagrid loudly yells for us to hear. Ron and I, now in their robes, walk up to Hagrid. "Hello, Harry," Hagrid says to me Hey, Hagrid. I say back being polite to him. "Whoaa!" Ron says. I don't know whether it was due to Hagrid or Hogwarts. "Right then. This way to the boats! Come on, now, follow me." Later, a large number of boats are plugging across a vast lake, where up ahead a huge castle, known as the Hogwarts Castle, can be seen. People are in awe. "Wicked." Although he then looks pearls a boy and glares at it. Cassiopeia sits with a bleach-blond boy and two goons. We continue on further towards the castle. Later on, the first-year students walk in the castle, and up the staircase. A strict looking teacher is waiting. She taps her fingers on a stone railing and then goes to the top of the stairs to greet the newcomers. She looks like someone not to mess with. "Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Now while you're here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn your house points. Any rule-breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup." A scared-looking boy spots his toad sitting near McGonagall. He jumps forward. "Trevor!" he catches his toad looking up towards the teacher; McGonagall stares down at him as some of the students laugh. "Sorry." He backs away, embarrassed. "The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." She leaves to go inside somewhere I don't know. "A young evil-looking boy, with short blonde hair, called Draco Malfoy, speaks up. Standing next to him is Cassiopeia who actually looks quite intimidating. "It's true then, what they're saying on the train. Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts." Some of the students are heard whispering, "Harry Potter?" She rolls her eyes at their reaction to him here. Draco introduces his three friends This is Crabbe, Goyle, and Cassiopeia. And I'm Malfoy...Draco Malfoy. Ron snickers at his name. Causing him to receive a whack from his sister. "Think my name's funny, do you? No need to ask yours. Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley. Well, soon find that some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. Don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there." I didn't miss the flash of hurt that crossed her face. The words clearly hurting her feelings she hid it. He extends his hand to me. I'm not going to take Draco's arrogance. I think I can tell who the wrong sort are for myself, thanks.
Draco glares. McGonagall returns and taps Draco on the shoulder with a paper. He leaves Harry with one last glare. He looks towards Cassiopeia seeing the hurt in her eyes. He apologizes to her putting his arm around her shoulders. Which looks difficult seeing as she is taller than him. "We're ready for you now. Follow me."
