The videos were all over the internet, and Miles couldn't help but to obsess over them. Alex looked miserable, and Miles couldn't stand the sight, still he found himself going back to the videos over and over again until his phone almost ran out of battery. He couldn't understand why Alex was doing that to himself, surrounding himself with strangers that certainly did not care about him at all, when he had his own friends and most importantly - Miles. At least he expected Alex to know he had him, whenever he needed, even if two days before he'd lost his mind, kicking Alex out of the venue, he couldn't ever kick him out of his heart, he knew he'd tried.
Instagram was a fucking curse, he thought. His Al wasn't a circus attraction to be shared like that, seemingly seeking comfort in stranger's arms, or isolated in a big room where every one else happily danced. He knew Alex hated the exposition, people were using him, and that infuriated Miles. "Al..." He breathed out into the empty room with hopes that their telepathy could travel long distances. Guilty hitting him hard when he realised Alex actually had asked for help and Miles ignored him merciless. He wept himself to sleep, rewatching the videos and stroking the screen until his battery finally died.

Next day, when Miles finally got the strength to recharge his phone, there were no calls from Alex, no texts, no new videos on the internet, no anything. Miles had cried his guilty ass out the night before, therefore he was ready to make something stupid, something incredibly stupid. After a quick phone call, J was there in mere ten minutes, and suddenly Miles wasn't physically alone anymore. They wasted no time and started making out on the couch with Miles trying his best to ignore the fact that J wasn't Alex, and that the way he shoved his tongue nearly down Miles throat was nauseating. It was almost a relief when the doorbell rang and Miles had to excuse himself to answer it.
He opened the door just to see no one was there. Strange, he thought. However when his eyes searched for the kids that probably rang the doorbell and ran away, instead they found Alex sitting on the porch, completely smashed.
"Mi..." He mumbled trying to stand up, stumbling on his feet and falling in Miles' arms, who held him quickly, still trying to overcome the surprise.
"Al...babe..." His eyes pitying Alex as he said the words. "Ya're so drunk..." He said tightening his grip around Alex's waist holding him up. The smell of booze was powerful, the smell coming from Alex apart from the alcohol too, not in a good way.
"I need...ya...eh...needed to see ya." Alex slurred it.
As Miles supported Alex body walking him to the inside of the house, J showed up at the hall, apparently to check why Miles was taking so long to go back to him. Alex's drunk eyes found the guy and got moist instantaneously. "What's 'e doin' 'ere Miles? Why is 'e.."
Before Alex was able to finish the sentence Miles interrupted. "He came to borrow something, he was going 'ome already, wasn't that so J?" But Alex wasn't having any of it. "Ya! Stay away from me Miles!" Certainly the courage was coming from the inebriation, Miles really didn't have to hold Alex back or anything, the poor thing would collapse if he ever tried to hit the massive man that J was.
J frown staring down at the small drunk man, but in all likelihood he did not want to ruin his chances with Miles, so he nodded in agreement. "Sure." He walked past Alex and Miles slamming the front door to show how unhappy he actually was. Miles shrugged to that, he had more important things to worry about.
"What was 'e doin' 'ere Mi?" Alex asked again, his face twisting in weird ways, jealousy and alcohol making him squirm.
Alex could be repetitive when drunk, Miles knew that.
"Who? There wasn't anyone else 'ere Al, just ya and me." He denied J existence completely, knowing the conversation wouldn't take them anywhere. "Ya need a shower, ya stink, c'mon."
