Wrong Number

Chapter 13:

*Universe's POV*

"WHAT!!" Jack and Zach said and jumped at the same time. "Im going to Hawaii for a couple of weeks." I said again. 

"Why!?!?!" they said again. "I just need a break." I explained. "When are you going?" Zach said taking a step and my hands. "Tonight." I said as I held his hands and looked into his eyes.

"TONIGHT!?!?!" Jack said and ruined me and Zach moment. "Yes Jackie tonight!" I said annoyed.

"Oh ok." Jack said noticing the how annoyed I was in my voice. He put his hood on and put hands in his pockets and went to the stairs mumbling "If you really want to leave me then why don't you just leave already." 

"Wait Jack!" I said racing after him. I get to his room and he slams the door in my face.

*Jack's POV*

I slam the door in Universe's face and I went straight to the bathroom. I looked in one of the drawer under the sink. I grabbed the blade and closed the drawer. I looked in the mirror and rolled up my sleeve. 

"Jack please open up!!!" I hear Universe yelling and knocking on the door.  Should I do this? I think. I don't care I'm doing it!

I put the blade on my skin and moved it across my wrist. Blood started flowing out. I put the blade down and turned the sink on. I put the cut I made under the sink then i grabbed a band aid.

I dried up the cut and put the band aid on. I rolled my sleeve down and put my blade away. I've done this befire with Universe by my side to help me. But she ain't by my side now.

When I turned I saw Universe. I jumped. "How long have you've been standing there??" I asked.
"Since you cut yourself." she said.

"Sis U I-I-I-" I said. "Jack. I'm canceling my flight." Universe said. "Sis U. You-you don't have to." I say. "I want to. I need to be here for you."  Universe says. "No I'm fine I swear!" I say.

"No Jack. I don't want to leave you. Remember what I said the first time you did this." she says.

|~Flashback Beginning~|

Jack (14): *crying*
Universe (14): *bursts in room* Jack what happened!?
Jack (14): It hurts!!
Universe (14): What hurts??
Jack (14): *rolls up sleeve*
Universe (14): *looks at cut* Jack- Bro- Bro J. *cries*
Jack (14): Universe
Universe (14): Jack why?
Jack (14): I-I- I'm sorry.
Universe (14): That doesn't explain why you did it.
Jack (14): It's just- It's because I'm dealing with stress.
Universe (14): *Grabs band aid from bathroom* School stress?
Jack (14): *nods* 
Universe (14): Jack don't get those words in your head. You're a great singer those voice cracks are just from puberty you're going to make it through this.
Jack (14): You sure?
Universe (14): Im sure *leans in head so they touch foreheads* Im going to be by your side no matter what
Jack (14): Ok *smiles*

"Yes." I said. "Im not leaving until that cut is no longer to be seen." Universe says. "But what about your trip to Hawaii?" I ask. "The girls will just have to understand."

"What do you mean 'the girls?'" I ask. "Oh I was gonna go with Gabbie, Tate, and Christina. But they'll understand. Maybe even Gabbie will drop the trip and help me with you." Universe says.

"Text them." I say. "Ok I mean we were gonna leave tonight." Universe says. Universe pulls out her phone and opens the group chat.

Universe:
guys something came
up and I can't go on
the trip... Im so sorry
