IF I fail my biotech test, I swear, I am going to collapse on the floor and never get up again.

Last class period, we took an exam. Our first exam of the semester and I swear to god, I did not feel confident about it at all. There were the FRQ's that I felt like I could bullshit my way through, but the 50 multiple choice questions? No way, bitch. I could barely answer them before the hour and a half time period was up. So I was not confident.

"Aren't you just psyched about test scores?" Was the first thing Jesse said to me when he sat down on his stool. I looked over at him perplexed because he was literally smiling.

"How on Earth are you smiling right now, you psychopath?" I said.

"Oh, Little Hamilton, lighten up," Jesse said, patting my shoulder.

I raised my eyebrows. "Is that seriously a new nickname? Little Hamilton? I'm not even Little Hamilton! I'm Equivalent Hamilton because Tyler and I are twins!"

Jesse shrugged. "So? Who was born first?"

I groaned. "He was."

He grinned. "Then, by default, you are Little Hamilton."

I rolled my eyes and rested my head on the table. "To answer your earlier question, no. I am not psyched about test scores. I am psyched about going home and going to bed. I am not psyched to receive a failing grade."

"You're not gonna fail," Jesse said and I looked up to glare at him. "Sheesh, sorry."

Mr. Demon walked in holding a stack of papers and I groaned once again. "I will start off class by passing out the exams. The average score was a 73, so not the greatest. Hopefully, we will get our scores up on the next exam."

Great, I'm totally failing.

As the papers were being passed back, I kept my head rested on the desk, not even bothering to look up. It's not like I needed to get an A or anything, it's not even like I really cared too much about my grades. But I hated completely failing. I'd failed a class once and I hated it, I never wanted to do it again. Even if this was an AP class (that I definitely shouldn't have enrolled in), I didn't want to fail.

"Little Hamilton," Jesse said, tapping my shoulder and I grumbled as a response. "Your test is sitting right in front of you. You gonna give it a look?"

"Why would I give it a look if I know I failed?" I said.

Jesse sighed. "Come on, just look and stop being a hydrogen bond."

My head snapped up and I glared at him. "Did you just call me a hydrogen bond?"

"Yes," Jesse said. "I called you weak. Just look at the damn paper!"
