" She's a good girl , she's very nice and gray loves her too" she began
" Mom they're all the same , they've all got a prize tag" I replied
" Nateeeeeeeeee "
"Hmmmm" I hummed
"I can't hold on much longer , the treatment isn't working anymore and I'm not sure for how long I can keep taking care of gray"
I am strong that's what I told myself buh who am I deciving my mom the only woman in my life is about to leave me forever and I can't do anything about it not even my money can't help me.
"Nate " she cooed.
I couldn't say anything I just gently laid there on her thighs, as she gently stroked my hair .
" I don't want to lose you" I whispered everything seemed blurry , slowly I drifted off to sleep.
I decided to take a stroll later that evening . The cold air brushing against my skin .. my heart almost skipped a bit when I saw her wearing a simple white polo and a blue sweatpants, I'm not exactly in dark girls but damn was this one pretty , I contemplated talking to her and thereafter settled on a no.
" Mr Davis" I halted and turned around to see her standing a few meters away from me her hands crossed over her chest.
"It's Nathan"
"Don't you think what happened today was rather uncalled for "
"What exactly?"
"I get it Gray's your son , but how was I supposed to know , your mom never mentioned you were coming and I tried to protect my gr_ , your son at least you should be thankful instead of acting like a stuck up jerk" .
I stood there with a smirk on my face trying to act totally unaffected by what she said , I looked at my watch and just walked past her leaving her dumbfounded , I could hear her say a few curses but I paid no attention to them .
Simi POV
I felt so bad for acting that way towards Mr Davis who obviously is an arrogant bastard . But still I had to clarify things.
Just as I stood there thinking with my hands crossed over my chest when I saw him walk by
" Mr Davis" he halted and turned around ,
"It's Nathan" he said

He stood there with a smirk on his face clearly unaffected by what I said and thereafter looked at his watch away I muttered a few curses and stamped my feet hard on the ground before walking away
