The moon was rising in the night sky as a figure ran though the forest, cradling something tightly in it's arms. The figure was a woman with curly hair as black as night and her piercing blue eyes search every nook and crany of the dark forest the woman was running through.
What this woman was cradling would be so important and if the others got hold of it, it would mean the end of her kind. This woman wasn't human. She was something greater, something more powerful, something much more frightning and so was the creature she held so carefully in her arms.
The creature was the woman's child, her daughter to be precise. The child looked so much like her mother even at the young age she was -which was quite young- short black hair covering the top of her head and grey-blue eyes which were currently closed shut.
The sound of arrows and bullets whizzing though out the forest made the woman run faster than humanly possible. She was slowly losing the people hunting for her. Or more precisely, her daughter. She had to get into the border, once she was inside she would be safe and so would her daughter.
As the tree line that marked the border came into view the woman couldn't help but let out a small chuckle, "We're almost there, sweetheart, we're almost there."
The woman stopped chuckling, when she saw something that made her blood run cold. At the tree line where five large wolves from what the woman could tell but her eyes focused on the person behind the wolves, a middle aged man. He had a smile on his face so wide you could pass a truck through it, seeing the woman and child so close to their lines but that smile soon faded. It turned to a look of concern. From what the woman could tell he was, trying to tell her something but she couldn't hear him.
It was too late, something lodged itself into the woman's back causing her to collapse to her knees. She looked down, and saw that something red was poking out of her belly. She checked on the baby, and was relieved to see it was fine. "Please, live a long life sweetheart." She said, and collapsed backwards, still clutching the baby.
This sight angered the wolves and the man, causing them to run toward her, they did not get to the woman first, the people hunting her did.
A/N So what do you think? I know it short but for the first chapter i wanted it to be shorter it turned out to be 346 words long! I only planned on making it around 250. So feed back what do you think should i continue?
On the side or at the begining of this chapter -depending on what your on- is Eva Green she plays the woman running though the forest.
~After Edit~ So this has been edited by my friend Pertwee_Fan_13 thats waht he insided on calling him self, because he's super paranoid someone will figure out who he is and stalk him.
