I never really liked school, I was always summed out. Now that I think about it no one ever looks me in the eye. I never got the message they tried to give me.

I'm 16, and in my second year of high school. I think I had pretty good grades in middle school. But I was so focused on my future that I never thought about having friends.

There was a group of boys at my school. I guess they were popular, but they always picked on me. I hated having the spotlight. So much attention is drawn towards you.

I think I left out a tiny detail. I almost had my first friend, but it was 5th grade and he always so calm and gentle. I was a bit sporty then, we would all play football, I was the only girl that would play but I never let my gender stop me. Alot of other girls always thought I was showing off to the football boys. But I never thought of them like that. They were my team and I respected them all equally. I was put in the best team. Yeah, I was that good. We'll his name was Leon ( lee-on). Some people can't say his name right.

Well anyway I never mentioned my name. It's Newtson, Mia Newtson.

I don't really like to smile because I know that it wouldn't mean anything, so I don't bother trying.

The bell rang which knocked me out of my daydream. I shoved everything in my bag and speed walked out of the doors. I was listening to music on the way to the subway, I would always listen to music so people wouldn't bother trying to talk to me.

I slowed down my past and stared at the ground walking mindlessly not looking were I was going. Until I saw a bright light. And someone pulling on my left arm. It was a face I remembered.

Leon's P.O.V.

I was sitting on the bench waiting quietly for the train to arrive. I got up looking around going closer to the yellow line. I backed up, feeling a rush of wind flow by. Someone bumped my arm. It was a girl. Staring at the ground aimlessly. "Hey," I said to her. She kept walking straight. I got a bit worried so I yanked on her arm, making her face me. By suprise I knew who she was.
