Chapter 5.5:Why you gotta be so rude? (Side Story; Arriela Lowie)

Ever wonder why Arry has been down lately?

Narrator's pov

It happened after they went to the school's clinic...

"Guys I forgot something in my locker, go home without me." Arry lied.

"Are you sure? We'll wait for you..." Tory insisted.

"No, I'm fine go ahead..." Then she run away from them.

She didn't really forgot something, but she forgot someone.

She was looking for Lance. Today is their decided day to know what's Arry's answer to Lance's. And she totally forgot it! Poor Lance...

Arry went to their supposed-to-be meeting place, but there's no signs of Lance there. She stay there for an hour, thinking that he will come back. But then she's tired of waiting and stood up. She conclude that he might gave up easily and went home.

She walk with her head's down, and while walking she heard a hissed came from an old classroom. She's a horror freak so she followed that sound and entered that old classroom thinking that she might saw a lost spirit in there.

And as she enter... she run away fast as she could, crying. Not because she saw a lost spirit or something. But... she saw the guy she was looking for... while kissing another girl.

"Arriel! Wait!" Lance shouted. He followed Arry, but Arry's really fast so he lost the sight of her.

Arriela Lowie (pov)

*sniff* Ugh! This is so stupid, why am I crying with a guy like that!? I mean he's not worth for my tears! Guys are really stupid, playing with a girl's heart is unforgivable!

Or is it my fault for forgetting that I have to talk to him today?

Yeah, I may have forget it but... I didn't kissed another guy!...

And besides Kaycee had an emergency!

The memories I had with Lance flashback in my mind. It's like its teasing me that I've been so idiot believing he was so nice and a perfect gentleman. I thought he treated me differently from his fangirls, but that's what I thought.

For him... girls are just toys

For him... girls are just accessories

For him... I'm just a girl.

I cried and cried until I fell asleep... I want to see the girls now.

Flashback...

Lance Delton (pov)

It's 4:30 pm, and I'm waiting for Arriel's answer. I'm a little bit nervous and excited at the same time. I really like Arriel, that's why I wanted our relationship to be more than friends. I hope she's the same.

It's already 5:00 pm, and I've been here half an hour now. But she's still not here. I'm thinking that something's came up that's why she's late, so I decided to wait for her until 5:30 pm.

It's now 5:30 pm, and she's still not here. But there's a part of me that she will come. Arriel is a type of person who doesn't ditched someone. Well... her memory is kinda weak so forgetting this might be possible. But I still waited for more minutes.

While waiting, I saw Brina. She's the daughter of the owner of this school and she's the richest student here and always brings her white persian cat.

"Hey Lance, what are you doing here ?" She asked in a flirt-tone while caressing my side bangs.

I removed her hands and answered "I'm waiting for Arriel."

"Looks like you've been ditched." She teased.

"Nah, she's not that kind of person." I explained.

"Oh well whatever, my dad is looking for you come with me" She said as she walked away from me.

Her dad? Mr. George? I wonder why...

I followed her until we stopped in an old classroom. Wait, Mr. George wants me to meet in here?

"Where's Mr George?" I asked.

She looked at me while blushing and said "I lied" .

"Wh-what?" I asked shockingly.

"I like you" She said straight.

"But I already like someone else"

"Look Lance, I really like you! What does that Arriel have that I dont? I'm pretty, I'm rich, I'm hot, Im--"

"Simply because you're not her". I cut her speech.

She leaned closer to me and I walked back until I was cornered... And fast as a blink she kissed me...

And right after that... I saw Arriel.

"Arriel! Wait!" I shouted.

I followed her, but she's so fast and it's already dark... so I lost my sight of her.

End of flashback.

I'm now in my room, I'm texting and calling Arriel but she's not replying and her phone's off. I just closed my eyes and mumbled

"Oh fate, why you gotta be so rude?"
