- Fifty Six

Promise.

I don't know how would I act during the Lunch with Jimin's Family. His Dad and Jihyun came and I was just looking at them and I realized how beautiful their family is and it just made me wish that my parents and Seunghyun is here. I kept smiling as I stare at Jimin's parents smiling at each other and I just stopped when Jimin's hand slide on mine, intertwining our fingers.

I shifted my gaze and looked at me and smiled tightly and Jimin looked at me with concern.

"You miss them don't you?" Jimin asked and I nodded. He squeezed my hand, he lifted it and kissed the back of it. "Are you still going to go to Australia?" He whispered and I nodded and I leaned against his touch and I looked into his eyes.

"I'm coming with you, I want to go with you" He straightforwardly said.

Jimin looked at my plate and to around the dining table and then to me.

"Mom? We're going upstairs" Jimin said and his mom nodded. Mrs. Park looked at me and smiled sweetly.

"Okay Jimin, Y/N" she said and I smiled back. Jimin stood up first and he held my hand even tighter and pulled me up with him and we walked upstairs.

Jimin let my hand go as we reached our room, I sit on the couch as he remained standing near the door. I looked at him and he just looked at me too until I looked away and stare at my lap.

"I'm sorry for everything Jimin..." I said "for the things I've said, for the way I've acted" I added and he did not speak

"I called Yoongi when you left the house, I don't what would I do if you left for real. I asked your Father's number, he gave your Auntie's number instead, I've got to talk to her and she told me, I called Yoongi again and I asked if you called him and he told me you went to Jungkook's house, I went there almost immediately..." Jimin said quietly and he was intently looking at him. I gulped, he looked at me with serious face, there were longing and betrayal in his eyes.

"I don't understand, I can't understand. Why didn't you tell me?" He asked and my breathe hitched and I clasped my hands together and stare at them.

I rubbed my hands on my face and breathed heavily, Jimin deserves to know, he really does.

"Remember? When I left for Seunghyun's graduation? That's when I found out about Mom's disease, I saw those huge red and dark patches on her body, she- she didn't tell anyone. I- stage 4 leukaemia, I was so scared when she told me about that. I didn't know, I, I forced her to tell dad, When we got back here, She told dad" I said and I felt tears prickling my eyes, it was so hard for me to look back on these moments, it was so fucking heartbreaking to remember everything I'm trying to fucking forget but for the sake of my relationship with Jimin, I'm more than willing to get through the pain over again, just one more time.

"Every-time dad leaves me alone at home, he would go to australia until he decided to just bring mom to seoul for the treatment, I carried that through out the whole senior year, I couldn't think of anything but mom, She was not doing any better and Dad decided to just bring her back to Australia, I didn't tell anyone, not even my friends because Dad and Mom begged us not to tell anyone, they believe that Mom is gonna be okay, I believe it too" I exhaled sharply.

I lifted my eyes and Jimin opened the glass window and he leaned against it and he looked at me, his eye brows furrowed, listening to the things I say.

" Weeks before my graduation, I called dad to ask how is my mother, she said she's not doing any fine, that's the time I asked if they want me to come there and Seunghyun came a week before my graduation and explained to me the real situation of mom and he told me she needs us in her side and I didn't think of anything so I agreed right away, I didn't think of you or the life I would leave behind here in Busan, I just thought about mom" I said and I heard Jimin took a very deep breathe and that's when I start crying, I sobbed quietly.
