Qrow the nevermore (RWBY x Grimm)

Chapter 3

*Qrow was in the bar, drinking. He was then listening to two men talking about how there were hunters and huntress out searching for something. Qrow figured it was ruby and her friends searching for him. Though it never crossed his mind that they'd know of his whereabouts. He didn't think they'd know where the bar was and he didn't plan on staying for too long. He needed to train and find out if his fear of being a grimm is true. At the same time, ruby and oscar were in the snow filled woods and were still looking for qrow.*

Oscar:"...about qrow's semblance..."

Ruby:" i already know about his semblance....it's bad luck...and he can't control it sometimes...is that what you were going to tell me?"

*Oscar paused but couldn't bring himself to do so. Ozpin answered in his mind, trying to help him.*

Ozpin:" oscar, you can go ahead and tell her...she deserves to know...after all, qrow is her uncle."

*He spoke. Oscar then agreed and built up the courage to tell her. Though, he and ozpin were the only ones who knew about qrow's new powers and they understood him but were worried about him.*

Oscar:" well...his semblance is bad luck but...he was telling me that...he thinks his semblance is evil. He has new powers that...allow him...to..."

*Ruby was impatient and yelled at him.*

Ruby:" oscar?? Allow him to what?! Tell me!"

*Oscar was startled and told her anyways.*

Oscar:" ah!! Okay!...it allows him to control grimm...i don't know if it's true but he's not sure himself!"

*Ruby was shocked and worried about qrow. She couldn't believe he was in even more danger than anything else.*

Ruby:" what?....he can control GRIMM!?!?"

Oscar:" y-yes, but..."

*Ozpin then took control to explain to ruby.*

Ozpin:" ruby, calm down! What oscar meant to say was that qrow is trying to learn how to control his new powers. Now, come. I will explain everything."

*They walked even further into the forest and then stopped to take a break. After, ozpin began.*

Ozpin:" you see, there are people who have the abilities to destroy or reconstruct...or both...and qrow is one of them...he has the power to destroy...his semblance is bad and...evil...but he does have the ability to protect and save others..."

Ruby:" so...he thinks he can control grimm? Why didn't he talk about it with us? We could have helped him!"

*Ozpin then interrupted.*

Ozpin:" he didn't want to put your life in vain...he wanted to spare you from worrying about him...qrow wanted to protect you and your friends...from himself...he didn't want to hurt you."

*Ruby didn't say anything but understood. She suddenly spoke while a few feet away from the bar that qrow was in.*

Ruby:" we can help him...if only he told us before...we could have understood him. I just hope he's okay!"

*Then they arrived at the bar and were confused as to why there was a bar in the middle of nowhere.*

Oscar:"...you think he's in there?"

*Ruby then looked at him and then back at the bar.*

Ruby:" only one way to find out."

*They walked towards it and went inside. The building had two floors. The first floor had multiple tables and a counter where a few men were sitting. The second floor didn't have much. It had a long hall with a table and two chairs along with a lamp. To the right of that floor was another way to who knows where. They didn't exactly know since they've never been in the bar before. However, they kept searching for qrow. The two walked up to the bartender and asked him about qrow.*

Ruby:"...excuse me, but have you seen a man by the name of Qrow Branwen around here? We've kinda been searching for him."

Bartender:" yeah, i've seen him...he was here a little while ago...though, i have no idea where he could have gone. He didn't really say anything before he left."

*Ruby and Oscar were ecstatic. They knew if they didn't lose hope on trying to find qrow, everything would be better than they expected. Meanwhile, qrow was walking in snow filled forest and fell on his knees since his injury was affecting him. He then fell on his back and didn't feel too well. He was about to faint when grimm were creeping in and walked in front of him. They stared at him though they cared for him. Qrow was shocked but suddenly smiled and was surprised why the grimm didn't attack him. The beowolves then started to rub their snouts on qrow and tickling him to make him feel better. Qrow laughed and begged them to stop but overall he didn't mind. He loved the feeling. He suddenly grew a beowolf's tail and cute wolf ears and looked similar to fox ears while more hair covered his human ears so they wouldn't be seen. But then grew feathers of a nevermore where his normal ears were. He didn't know until he felt something wagging on his butt. He blushed and saw that he had grown a tail. He was very surprised.*

Qrow:"!!!! What? I grew a tail? How?"

*He put his hand on his head when he felt a pointy ear.*

Qrow:" huh?! Ears?"

*After, he lied down on the snow and felt what seemed to be like feathers on the sides of his head.*

Qrow:"....gasp, and feathers."

*He then felt nudge on his neck and so he turned his head to look at a beowolf that was sitting beside him. He stared at the grimm and then looked at the others. He smiled.*

Qrow:"....I'm just like you guys now...how...terrifying is that?"

*He looked up and wondered what would happen in the future if he told his family about this amazing power he had. Although, he was amazed and shocked simultaneously. He thought that this power was incredible but on the other hand, he didn't want others to think of him as a monster or a grimm. Since he was already a faunus, he would just blend in with the rest of the other faunus but to them, he would look like a grimm. He then got up and tried to change into his crow form until he did. However, he transformed into a nevermore and was startled. Though, he was impressed that he was able to turn into a nevermore.
