Slowly, your eyes reopened; a dry feeling causing water to pool over your iris. Dry; as if they had been closed for an eternity. Subsequent to blinking away yours tears - you began glancing around your current position; immediately taking notice of the room you were in--your room.
"Eri?" You called, more things starting to come back to you. Your room contained milk colored carpeting, a mixture of differently colored wallpapers; and different accessories. You took note of the position of the wardrobe, mirror, bookshelf, and the other items in the room.
Proving itself to be just as noticeable; a thick layer of dust was beginning to collect underneath these things; so you wondered--when was the last time they were moved?
You finally stopped analyzing your bedroom to get out of bed. Firstly, you sat up; throwing the sheets away from your form. Then, you proceeded to throw your legs over the side--stepping out of the bed completely. Now standing at full height, you somehow felt...shorter than before.
But--what was before?
You took notice of how long your sleeping gown was; for it dragged across the floor with each step you took.
"Eri?" You called once again - however, more urgently. Having tripped over your night gown twice; you finally reached the door. You pushed and pushed, but the door wouldn't budge.
"Mistress? You are awake?" Eri inquires, opening the door for you - and nearly hitting you in the process. Had your door always opened inwards..? "Come, your breakfast is ready."
You began to follow the elder woman until you stopped at the top of the stairs. You had gotten swallowed in your thoughts; mainly questioning the unfamiliar air of your own mansion.
"What's the matter?" Eri asks, bending down to your height as she stood before you. "Would you like me to carry you down instead?" She proceeds to inquire teasingly.
"I'm old enough to walk myself," You grumbled; being suddenly pulled from your thoughts. "how old do you think I am?" You retaliated, pouting.
"Well, your birthday was recent...(Birth day & month). Therefore, if I am not mistaken, you are 12 years of age." Eri gave you a soft smile; continuing her journey down the stairs.

•If one were to be honest; you hadn't given your appearance much thought. Simply sitting at the dining table with a situated gaze on the Chandelier above you--you could easily be mistaken as a mindless child. The light tapping of heels against wooden floors is what finally forced you to blink; a distant memory trying to find itself.
The most you could recall was the fast clicking of heels and the sound of fabric fluttering. The amalgamated sounds only continued for seconds more before a loud thump and then--splatter.
Subconsciously; your eyes started to wander over to a single tile placed within the wooden pattern of your floor--seemingly loose. Not only that, but that single tile seemed different--
"You now have permission to indulge in your breakfast mistress." Eri's voice--once again--tore your gaze from the floor. Instead, forcing you to avert it to the table as she placed down the last dish. Now fully studying it--you noticed how much effort Eri truly put into making breakfast. The table held various plates--all holding different breakfast items. Though - these weren't simple breakfast items such as bacon or eggs. Many of which you were unable to name.
Although you knew of all the work and effort Eri put into making this spread; you couldn't help but feel that you were in the mood for something different.
