Slade POV (Three years later)
I'm gonna be a dad. This is great. While everyone is congratulating me and A.J., I see Reece and Mallory talking. I see him say something then get down on one knee. I nudge A.J. and point to them. She gasps and smile automatically makes its way to her face.
We start to walk over and see Mallory nod and kiss Reece. Reece slides the ring on her finger as soon as we make it to them.
"Congratulations." A.J. says hugging Mallory.
I clap Reece on the back, "You finally got the guts to ask her. We've been telling ya to since I asked A.J." Reece shoves me and laughs.
I hug Mallory as A.J. hugs Reece, "Congrats, Shorty." I say using the nickname I gave her.
She groans, " I'm not that short."
"Agree to disagree." I chuckle and Reece tells everyone about the engagement.
A little while later, I'm talking to Dave, I look and see Reece and Mallory dancing. I smile.
Dave chuckles, "He looks at her the same way you look at A.J."
"Yeah, and how do I look at A.J.?"
"The same way I looked at her mom." He says looking over at A.J. He points back at me, "You better take good care of her and my grandson."
"Grandson?" I ask.
He shrugs, "Just a feeling." He says before walking off.
Just a feeling huh?
