The Reality
SHE TAKES a deep breath as she stands in front of the door to her parents gigantic house, and hopes to get this meeting over with.
She rings the doorbell a couple of times and there was already a maid opening the door for her five seconds later. "Uh.. hi..? I'm—"
"Oh I know who you are dear." The lady interrupts, "they're up stairs." And with that, she invited her in while the girl walks in with confusion.
As she looks around, she could definitely tell it's super spacious. She didn't understand why they owned such a big house for only three people.
Yes, three.
Her mom and dad, and finally her brother.
"Heyyyy sis, how's it going?" She turns her direction to the voice and realizes it's her brother himself. She waves with an awkward smile on her face as he comes towards her. He eyes her for a few seconds with an empty expression before speaking again, "you must be here to talk about that stupid party we're doing."
Hani creased her forehead, "stupid?" He nods at her response, "stupid. Rich people may always do these house parties, but I'm not one of them. It's pointless to do so, but it's our parents so what am I gonna do?" He shrugged.
"But anyways, I'll take you to mom and dad. It's been a while since you moved out." He turns his head at her with a serious expression as they walked. She looked back at him, "and you should move too, you have the money for it."
"But I don't wanna!" He whined, "I'm only 25 you know."
"Stop acting so childish Jimin, you're a grown ass man so stop feeding off your parents and get a life." She smiled at him as she said that and walked in front of him knowing the room she needs to be in.
--
"Oh Hani how I missed you so much sweetheart!" Her mother gives her a big hug and can hardly breathe, "okay okay mom, I can't breathe!" Her mom let's go and gives an apologetic face, her dad just gave a brief greeting before her.
"So why did you call me over? I thought we already discussed everything through the phone?"
"Yes dear, but we forgot to mention one more thing." Hani feels a little suspicious now, "what is it..?" She asked.
"A date of course!"
"I'm leaving." She swiftly turns around and turns the doorknob.
"No wait! We're serious Hani." Her mom grabs her by the wrist, meanwhile Hani tried to keep her cool. "Mom, you just made me get up from my bed, take a bus, and walk all the way over here with your big ass stairs, just to tell me that I need a stupid date?!"
She was truly mad that her mom or dad or even Jimin could've told her this stupid stuff through the phone. The worst part is that she didn't have a date nor wants one.
"I'm sorry honey but you don't know how important this part is. This party is to mainly have a partner of some sort and have a great time." Hani shakes her head, "then I don't wanna go, I have no interest in that sort of thing."
Her mom frowns, "come on sweetie, it's been a long while since the last time you came and this is the only time where I had some sort of gathering to make you come. At least this time."
It's true that Hani had been skipping the past parties they've thrown simply because she wasn't interested, and now that they're asking again she's starting to feel a bit bad.
She sighs and rubs her eyes, "fine, but on one condition." The parents listen in to what she has to say, "I want my monthly allowance to rise up a little." Her parents look at each other as if they couldn't believe it.
"$10,000 isn't enough for you?"
"Oh relax, we're rich aren't we? Just turn it to 12 and I'll go." She smiles devilishly as her hands were behind her back. They sigh, "fine I'll even send it to you first thing tomorrow." Her dad speaks.
"Great." She smiles.
"Oh silly Hani, I still get more than you." She turns to Jimin sticking out his tongue at her, "oh shut up before I smack you."
"You should just focus on getting a date, loner." Jimin talks back.
"Jokes on you, I already have one. How about you dipshit?"
He laughs, "honey, I've been in a relationship for a year now. Have you been off the charts that long?"
"I'm leaving, goodbye." With that, she stomps back to the main entrance and leaves.
All she thought about was her date, now she really had to be his date now.
Oh no, oh no, oh no.
A/N: but anyways, I've come to realize that some people might find Hani as a cringey ass girl and I'm aware or that. I made her that way on purpose, so just to clarify I'm not a 12 y/o girl who's thirsty for Seungwoo. That's just how this character is ಠ_ʖಠ
But hopefully you enjoyed :)
