A Falling Star (Fairy Tail X Bleach Crossover)

Chapter Four

            Lucy once more stood in the black abyss.

No wind.

No light.

But laughter. However, this was not just random laughter, she knew these voices. This was her guild, her family. She heard Natsu, Wendy, Erza, Mirajane, Juvia yelling Gray Sama, and she heard Levy's laugh as well.

Again, she could not see her family but she could hear, her hand was brought to her face as she wants to see her guild mark. Yet her vision only contains blackness, but she knew it was there.

Slowly her eyelids fell as she took a breath in.

Why was she here and not with her guild?

Giving a groan, Lucy's eyes hesitate to open. As her brown orbs stared into the light, she heard voices to her right. She distinguished it to be one male and two females. Taking in the rest of her surroundings she saw she was on a white cotton bed, well not a fancy bed, but still a bed. She saw her whip propped in one of the corners, by a cart full of medical supplies.

Her hand reached to where her keys should have been but only found air. Panic surged through her. "My keys!" she cried bolting up, a large pain shot through her head down to her neck, a cry come from her lips.

"Whoa there hold on a second." Came the voice of the man she heard earlier. She looks to see an adult man with black hair spiked up, he wore a white medical coat. "You hit your head pretty badly." he explained as he pulled out a roll of bandages. "My keys.... where are they?" Lucy asked, she stayed still she could care less if she was hurt, she just didn't want to lose her friends nor did she want to see her friends hurt.

"There're right here."

Lucy looked to her left to see a young girl, with light brown hair, holding onto Lucy's comrades. Of course it was the bag that contain them. Lucy held her hand out as the young girl handed Lucy her keys. A smile grasped Lucy as she fell back falling into blackness once more, holding her keys to her heart as she slept.

The young girl watched the blonde stranger sleep peacefully, something about the way she panicked about her keys reminded Yuzu of how a person lost their friends and family. Those keys must be very special to the lady. She watched her father tie the bandage around the girl's head and went to go check on the other patient they had. It was just a 36-year-old man who has a flu, something their father does not want Yuzu or her sister to go help with.

With a damp washcloth in her hand, Yuzu washed the sweat from the sleeping blonde, she heard the front door open and beamed. Her brother was finally home. School has been keeping him extremely busy these days, he comes home later than normal now.

Putting the washcloth down, Yuzu exited the room to go welcome her brother and tell him where dinner was, well she was surprised to see her brother staring at the sleeping patient. His face looked as if he seen a ghost when he saw her. Did he know her?

What was she doing here? Why was she here? After his meeting with Hat n' Clogs, Ichigo was told to keep an eye on this stranger, but not to get close. Hell the ex-soul reaper had no idea what the hell she was. He was alert, he didn't know if she posed has a threat and if she did, here she was in his home with his family. He will not let this stranger hurt his family. He needed to contact Rukia, she could help him out. He should also warn his friends but he can't really warn his family can he?

Two hours had passed and Lucy had woken an hour ago. She was found by an overly eager man who wanted to know what had happened. Lucy did not want to but still she told a 'lie'. She said she was a foreigner and that she decided to visit other areas. However, as she was walking she tripped over a rock and fell down.

The young girl, who Lucy met was Yuzu, was getting onto her father, pestering him about letting the patient sleep.

"Oh don't worry about me!" Lucy said with her usual cheerful demeanor.

"Are you sure? I mean you did get a concussion." Yuzu said as she folded some clothes. Lucy only smiled wider.

" I'm positive."

"Okay Heartfillia, but if you need rest, let us know so we won't bother you."

"Of course! Also you don't have to call me Heartfillia, you can call me Lucy."

With those final words Lucy was welcomed and became a friend to the Kurosaki household, all the while the only son watched her every move. His mind still wondered to the previous day.

(Authors Note: Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been super busy and the reason why the chapter is so short is cause I have author's block...I know I know it's the worst thing every and to make things worse it usual last about two to three weeks..... I hate it!!!!! The only way to fix it is to ignore this book for a while then come back and reread and bang idea!!!! So Until I am cure from the curse I hope you guys enjoy!!)
