Hey guys! I just want to say thank you for reading this story! Although today my birthday I'm giving you guys a present in the form of a chapter! So unwrap that present because here is chapter 5!

With our backs being pushed due to the force of the ride, I knew I was grinning. "You're going to love this!" I screamed as we were sent down into a loop that arched to the left and then into a downward spiral.

I heard her and others screaming joyfully as it was approaching a loop de loop. After the machine passed the first loop, it got stuck on the second loop. With glasses threatening to fall to the ground, and blood slowly rushing to our heads, I hopped the mechanics would fix the problem.

After a while, I could feel the blood rushing to my brain; I heard the machine creaking as chewing sounds could be heard, causing the front wheels snapping from the railing, making us look like a screaming, swinging pendulum. 'I'm not dying today, none of us are if I can help it.' I thought as I focused my hands to grow microscopic scales as I chopped the metal frame a few times before it fell to the Earth.

With my back now free, I pulled the second metal contraption away as it fell; with that, I let gravity take over as I descended toward the Earth. As the people became more defined, I turned invisible and grew my wings and flew to the roller coaster. As I soared up, removing the invisibility spell, I noticed that someone was falling, but instead of screaming in terror, the person turned into a gargoyle and flapped their wings to reduce their falling speed.

With the other gargoyle stopping in mid-flight, it stood in the air with its hands slowly raising, emerald eyes glowing; I noticed the Earth rising into pillars as they slowly held the rollercoaster in place. Quickly, I flew to the terrified passengers in the front end of the ride and removed the protective metal from the swinging death trap. "It's going to be okay, the other one and I are here to help you. Just calm down, please." I asked as the child nodded his head.

I gently held the child by his armpits, careful not to scratch him with my claws as I flew down by a building. I repeated the process hastily as I could. With a third of the ride empty, I moved onto my friend, who looked at me terrified. "Stay away from me!" She exclaimed and screamed as I removed her protective gear.

"Can't do that. Not unless you want to see your family again." I said, carrying her bridal-style as she relentlessly punched my nose. "Stop! It doesn't..." I stopped as I heard metal creaking from above us, "no!" I cried as I wrapped my wings around us and dived downward, performing a barrel roll. Upon nearing the ground, I stopped with a loud beat of my annexes, hovering a few inches from the pavement as I gently laid her down.

With my friend out of the way, I flew quickly, afraid that the wheels would break from their rails. "Hurry up!" I heard the gargoyle scream tiredly as I neared the damaged machine.

As I went closer to the next person, the wheels holding the ride to the rails snapped. With a burst of my wings, I held onto the back of the rollercoaster and flapped my wings furiously. I felt it drop due to the pillars of rock and dirt returning to their original place.

"Cut them! Cut the sections with the empty seats, do it!" I screamed, beating my wings faster as the other gargoyle went to work on doing what I asked. Hearing it grunt, I heard what sounded like water and air slashing against steel.

Hearing it pant, I felt the weight of the ride get lighter, but only for a second as I felt a jerking motion. The element bending stone-being flew towards the end of the machine and gripped onto space beside me. "Can't you make a cushion of air?"

"Can't. Mentally exhausted." It spoke, pulling its tired muscles into helping me lower the rest of the ride with its screaming passengers. As we were nearing the ground, both of us gave our wings a final humongous flap. We used our tails to balance ourselves like kangaroos once we were on the ground, then we carefully dropped the butt of the ride.
