Hi, here's a oneshot I've been brainstorming about for a while, but I didn't have anywhere to put it.
TW: Abuse

*Natemare's PoV*

I slowly became aware of something cold pressing against my wrists and ankles, and the fact that I was only supported by that.

I tried to raise my head and look around, but realized that I was blindfolded. I pulled at my  wrists, starting to panic. I heard the sound of metal scraping against metal, and realized I was chained somewhere.

The air was cold, stinging my lungs as I breathed. I couldn't hear anything except my own breathing, even as I tried desperately to look around for something.

That was when I smelled something. What is that...? Is it...blood...? That's what it smells like... The scent was overpowering, the only thing I could smell. Where am I!? I wanted to scream, to yell, to run, but I couldn't. I could barely move.

Footsteps echoed, and my head snapped toward the sound. Somebody was in here. I tried in vain to free myself, wondering what was going to happen. "Oh, are you trying to escape? How cute." I know that voice. Antisepticeye. What's he doing here!? I try to say something, but can't. The footsteps slowly come closer, making me panic. I can't see him. I don't know what he's doing, if he has anything or anyone with him.

Anti stopped moving, which made me panic more, because I couldn't tell where he was anymore. I tried to twist myself free, tried to escape, tried to get away. But I couldn't. All I could hear was the sound of metal scratching against metal. "You'll never escape, you know." Anti's voice sent a shiver down my spine. I tried to yell for help, but no sound came.

A sense of hopelessness settled over me and my struggling slowed. Subconsciously, I knew that I would never escape. After a few moments, I stopped completely, letting myself go limp. I had no idea what would happen next, or why I was here, but I knew that it had something to do with Anti.

That was when I realized that I couldn't remember what happened last. I couldn't remember anything of what happened the entirety of yesterday. I heard Anti walk toward me again. I instinctively turned to look at him, but I saw nothing, of course. I didn't know what he was going to do, which really scared me. He could do anything, and I wouldn't be able to defend myself.

I felt something brush my arm and I tensed. I tried to ask him to stop, but I couldn't say anything. I understood that I couldn't escape.

I watched as Mare struggled, obviously scared. "You'll never escape, you know." I pointed out with a smirk, though he couldn't see it. I saw his struggling slowly fade, knowing his hope had died. I walked close to him, thinking about all the possibilities. I noticed how rapid his breathing was at that time. Not that I cared, of course. I brushed my hand over his arm, partially by accident, partially to see how he reacted. He tensed instantly, and I struggled to contain my laughter for a second. He was freaked out just because of me. I love having this effect on others.

I stood silently for a moment, watching how he reacted to the silence of the room. At first, there wasn't much of a change. But as a few minutes passed, he became more tense and attempted to look around. Not that I cared how scared he got. I looked at him, smirking. I wanted to mess with his head for a while. I heard him tried to say something, but it was muffled because he was gagged. I reached forward and pulled out the gag in his mouth, not that I really cared what he would say.

He took a few breaths, confused. Then he realized what had happened. "P-please! D-don't hurt me!" His voice was shaky and fearful. I laughed, faintly surprised at how maniacal my laugh sounded. I saw him flinch and heard a soft whimper. "Please...I-I don't know what I d-did..." The fear in his voice and body language was obvious enough to make me rethink my actions, for a split second at least. I wanted him to be scared.

I took a few steps backward, watching him still. "Please, let me go...or a-at least tell me what I d-did..." He whimpered, and I chuckled. If he didn't remember, I wasn't going to tell him. I walked closer, standing a few inches in front of him. He pressed himself against the wall, trying to get away from me. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small knife. I looked at the cold, sharp blade. He didn't know I had it with me. "P-please! I-I'm s-sorry!" He yelped nervously. I was getting annoyed and considered gagging him again.

I didn't, though. I didn't move for a moment. "P-please, let m-me go..." He repeated, twisting slightly in an attempt to escape. This time, I snapped. "Shut up!" I yelled, touching the knife to his throat. He stopped when I did so. I pulled the knife away, watching how his chest rose and fell at a rapid pace. "Why are you doing this?" Mare asked in a whisper, ticking me off even more. "Did I not just tell you to shut up!?" I yelled again, slashing his arm with my knife. He winced and jerked his arm, causing blood to fall to the ground.

He opened his mouth to say something else, but he seemed to remember what I had just done, and said nothing. The cut on his arm wasn't deep, but it was quite long. I backed away, and saw him consider saying something. "P-please...d-don't leave..." It was barely  a whisper, but I heard it loud and clear. I turned to look at him, and saw that he wasn't moving too much. Expertly aiming, I threw the knife. It stuck into the wall less than an inch above his arm, blood dripping from where it hit him. Mare flinched, accidentally cutting himself more on the knife. I left the room.

I heard Anti leave, and I thought about calling out to him again. My arm stung from the cuts on it. I'm pretty sure he threw the knife at me just before he left. I don't know if he aimed to hit me and miss, or meant to miss me, and I'm not sure I want to know. I just want to get out of here. I don't even know where I am. I struggled, trying to free myself, but I felt the knife cutting deeper into my arm and stopped. I didn't know if anybody, except Anti, even knew I was here. And if they did, would they care?

Well, there's part one. Yes, this is becoming a multi-part thing. I want to publish this, but I can't think of anything else to put in this part. Plus, this is almost as long as the chapters for true books that I'm writing. See you in the next chapter~
