Another poem. Quick upload you'll be happy for so here you go. I know it looks like im dedicating this to myself but im not. This is dedicated to one of my best friends who shares this account with me (The 'MIK' part) for always being the first to read what I write.

Holding My Breath
I hold my breath as the crowd walks by,
Flat against the wall,
Swallowed by the shadows.
To see me like this,
Would shatter the illusion,
Out of school I'm different,
Out of school I'm free.
Free of all the pressure,
The push to succeed,
Free of all the insecurities,
Free from all their greed.
To my friends I'm just me,
They don't care,
They don't judge,
They're just like me only not afraid.
To embrace my personality,
To be myself,
A work in progress,
A long journey.
The world will keep on turning,
My friends will keep on growing
And I'll keep on trying,
But for now,
I just hold my breath
