Sam's P.O.V

Three months.

90 days, 2,160 hours, 129,600 minutes. In three months David had fallen head over heels for Liza. The only thing he would talk about was Liza. The only person he wanted to be with was Liza. The only thing he thought about was Liza.

I hadn't seen him in over a week because he was with her. He hadn't called in a week because he was with her. Don't get me wrong, she seemed like a nice kid. She was nothing but nice the few times we hung out.

David was changing. He no longer wanted to go out on adventures, go for long car rides, or talk for hours on the phone. He wanted to film pranks, be home all day and be out all night, and take Liza anywhere and everywhere he could.

When we were teens we started a Sunday breakfast tradition. I would cook whatever his heart could desire. It would always be him, our best friends, and I. Two Sundays ago for the first time in three years, he brought his own food. Last week he decided he wanted to change the menu. This week he was going to ask Liza to cook for us.

I always knew a day would come when one of us would get into a relationship and things would change. I knew we couldn't be two peas in a pod forever. I just didn't know it would come so soon.

I laid on my couch, head down and feet up on my window. I groaned into the cushion and sat there. I checked my phone to find Dom and Ilya fighting in the group chat once again. I sighed and sat up

I put my shoes on and packed a bag. I headed out my apartment and walked to my car. My phone began to buzz, it was another groupcall.

"Hey Dima, whats up?" I answered.

"Hey Sam, what are you up to?"He asked.

"I was just heading out to get an iced coffee from Dunkin. What about you honey bunny?" I asked, getting into my car.

"I was just wondering if you were going to be home today."

"Yup, all my friends are too busy for me."

"Good, get out of your Tesla and open the gate."

"What do you mean?" I asked, hopping out the car.

"Boi." With that he hung up.

I slowly crept over to the gate and looked through the tablet on the door.

Sticking put of the windows of a white Mercedes Benz was a smiling Ilya, Dima, and a grinning Natalie. I quickly opened the gate and ran towards their car.

"Get in loser, we're going shopping." Ilya smiled, beeping the horn.

I smiled ear to ear as I pulled them into a hug.

"I've missed you guys so much!" I yelled, squeezing them all.

"God damn Sam, relax." Dima said, hugging back.

"You guys literally have no idea how much I've missed you." I said, tears threatening to fall out.

"Aw, Sam wants to cry!" Ilya cooed.

"Stop being annoying." I growled, smacking him.

"Where's David? He's always with you." Nat asked, looking over my shoulder.

"He's been talking with a girl. He's ghosting everyone." I replied.

"Is that why he hasn't been texting the group chat like usual?"Dom asked.

"Boy, you live with him!" I laughed.

"That doesn't mean I see him! He's a busy lil boy." He said defensively.
