Andret's POV

I smiled, my eyes looked to the large tree, it was covered in blue mystical water. It was in the Blackwald. Tal'Doren, otherwise known as, the Wild Home.. A place for worgens. When we had arrived to Stormglen, Forluce and I had to kill some spiders but, after that, we were sent to meet Darius Crowley...

I smiled, running in all fours into the giant tree. I saw as worgens looked at Forluce and I as we entered. Darius smiled and opened his arms, hugging me tightly, he then, shook Forluce's hand. Darius was somewhat attractive. He had a brown eyepatch on his left eye, his silvery gray beard was braided and reminded me of Forluce. I sighed and Darius smiled softly.

"Brothers, Sisters.. Welcome new members of our family! Sister Andret, and Brother Forluce!"

The howls of worgens entered my sharp ears. I smiled wide and so did Forluce as we felt welcomed. My heart swelled to the size of a basketball. My head lifted up high in a loud and joyous howl. My howl was louder than everyone else's, I lowered my head as people stared at me while I had a joyous tune leaving my vocal box and traveling for everyone to hear. Forluce stared at me dumbstruck, I shrugged it off and trotted to Darius's side.

"What are we to do sir?" I asked with a soft smile, bowing my head.

"Andret, your to be by my side.. We must retrieve the Scythe of Elune, it was stolen by Dark Rangers. You will not be retrieving it but, Forluce and a few others will. Forluce!"

He called out to the brute male, who trotted up with a twisted smile and a devious glint in his eyes. "Yes Lord Darius?" Forluce bowed in respect to the higher-ranked male.

"You are to take Leeighann, Ash, Higaro, and Tobias. Take the horn to summon more worgens as you go. It's at the Woods' End Cabin, just west of here." Darius him a horn, it was rustic-looking with various inscribed designs with golden lacing around it.

I smiled as Forluce hugged me. "We need to talk when I return.." He whispered softly in my ear as he then, bound off on all fours, Tobias and the others closely behind him.

I watched Darius walk up to me, his paw brushing the mane from my face, straightening it up so I had no more twigs, leaves, and thorns in it. Suddenly, he began to braid it with his paws weaving the hair strands, securing the ends with blue ribbons. I smiled and growled at the feeling of my hair being playing with. He put a paw on my shoulder and smiled to me, his yellow eye gleaming.

"Your just as Liam described you... A beautiful, young worgen, with eyes filled to the brim with drive, passion, and more importantly, a sign of leadership.. That howl you belt out when we welcomed you? It was none other than an Alpha howl, I'm glad Forluce's pack chose you to be turned.. Your going to do great things for Azeroth Andret.. Great things.." He caressed my cheek with a claw.

I heard gasps and I turned to see a panting and exhausted Tobias, soon, other worgens began to enter slowly. Some limping, some wounded, some, didn't come. I searched quickly for Forluce. My eyes widening as I didn't see him anywhere. I howled out loudly. Shrieking his name, trying to find him. "Forluce! Forluce!?" I called out how many times I do not know.

"Andret..." I turned my head around to meet the gaze of Tobias, but, his eyes were directed to the ground below. He opened his mouth, his jaw twitching as he spoke. "The Dark Rangers... They captured Forluce, they're taking him as prisoner for the Lich King in Northrend.."

I growled and pinned Tobias down, my eyes welling with tears as I yelled in his face. "You let them take him?! You heartless piece of-" I was cut off when a large framed worgen slammed into me, knocking the wind from my lungs as I slammed into the ground. The one who had knocked me over was Darius Crowley. I snarled loudly, standing up.

"What was that for?! Your friend here lost mine! I'm going to rip so heart out!" I lunged forward at Tobias and gripped my claws onto his arms but, he simply threw me off. Darius stepped his large foot onto my chest and growled in warning.

"Look, Andret, I know your upset but, we must keep moving.. Even though Forluce may not be back, we must remember him as he was.. If he returns then that's gray but, I don't expect to see him until a long while so, I suggest we get some rest. The others are already heading to bed.."

I noticed at the other worgens began to lie down in small groups in the corners of the large tree, curling up near one another to keep each other warm and cozy. I smiled softly at the sight and my ears drooped. I sat outside, watching, waiting for my Forluce to return. But, of course, I knew I may never see him again... The thought scared me more than anything else. What if I never saw him again? What if.. What if he's dead?!

The Next Morning....

Andret's POV

I woke up to the sound of screaming and howling. My eyes widened as I walked into the tree, Darius was standing next to Lorna, his daughter, while Godfrey stormed in and was yelling. Suddenly, Darius spoke out.

"Does this toad speak for you Genn? Do come to our dwelling as a friend? Or do you come as a tyrant?" He grumbled and bared his teeth in a bit of anger.

Suddenly, the King shifted, into a worgen with stormy gray fur. He smiled, his deep voice welcoming and full of heart. "No, old friend, I come to you as an equal.."

The Earl Godfrey's eyes grew so huge he screeched out like a little girl, "Impossible!" The man nearly fell over he was so shocked. I giggled softly, the Earl then, shot daggers at me and pointed a gloved finger. A sly smirk tipping off his lips. "I see your still here.. Now, where's your petty friend.. Forluce?!" He spat my companion's name as if it were the Devil's.

"Forluce was not petty! He was noble.. An honest friend.. But, I say his only problem before he left was that he didn't rip your heart out..." I snarled as Godfrey leapt at me with a dagger in his hand. Suddenly, a large figure jumped in front of him. His deep voice scared the wits out of me as he spoke.

"Hurt my daughter.. And you won't live till tomorrow." The male spoke with pride, I began to examine my savior..

"King Genn... Your my.... Father?" I looked around questioningly to my 'Father'. I nearly fainted as Darius caught me and smiled, helping me stand. I regained myself and spoke loudly. "Ok, what is going on?!"
