You know that feeling when the world is perfect, nothing could ever hurt you and then suddenly this traumatic thing happens that turns your world upside down. That is what I felt at this exact moment. Millions of tarts just started streaming down my cheek. Just then I felt this soft hand on my shoulder and it calmed me. I looked up and it was Chris he looked at me for a few seconds then just hugged me .
In a few minutes we arrived at the hospital, Chris came with me. Maybe we weren't officially a couple but it sure felt like it. I turn to him and he says "No matter what happens, I will always be by your side.Before we go in please answer this. Will you be my girlfriend?" I look at him in shock." Yes! Of course don't need to ask twice" we both laugh. We then walk into my dads hospital room and what we saw was horrifying.
