(Richie P.O.V ) 

                                   * Continuing from where we left off *

I watch as Eddie leaves. I never felt like this before--- His hand was on mine, and then in mine. I never thought that would happen. I-- Does he know?? No, he cant. I hope he doesn't. 

'' Well, Maybe we should go our separate ways, because I hate you guys for taking me to this movie. '' I scoffed. The others laughed.

' It was my idea don't blame the others--- pfft- ' Bev managed to say. 

'' Y-yeah '' Bill stuttered after, '' Her idea. '' 

I angrily looked at them, Ben cut in,

' Well, I'm gonna go now. ' 

' Okay New kid. ' Bev replied to Ben.

I leave while they all say goodbyes and stuff, I don't care about that stuff. I get on my bike and go the short distance to the arcade. The best place in the world. I get some tokens. 

I walk over to Street Fighter. I slide a token in, playing solo this round. I pretty much win this round.

I look around, I notice a kid walking up to play. I offered them to play with me, and they accepted. We played a few rounds. The kid ran out of coins.

" Aw mann... " The kid sighed, walking away.

'' Hey wait,, wanna play one more round??? '' I held up the coin. The kid noticed his mom giving him a look.

" Ew-- No-- " I looked at him confused. 

'' What do you mean ew?? '' He just walked away

'' I-- Oh okay- '' I put my second to last token in,, and played. I was just confused-- what changed his mind so fast?? I guess i'll never know. Dang it! I lost the game. I put my last token in my pocket, exiting the building. 

I hear some kids laughing behind me as I leave, what did that kid tell them-- I hope it wasn't anything bad.

I see some fata** kid walk in, It was a girl. I looked away for a second, and I hear fighting, and then watched her get kicked out. She was followed closely by the kid who said ew to me. I looked at her, and she gave me a thumbs up. I was just confused.  ( my friends idea )

I got on my bike and rode to Eddies house. It's kinda late but maybe I'd be able to convince him to hang out with me a little longer. I walked up to his door, peeking into a window. I knocked..

I hear Eddie's mom walking up to the door, you can tell its her because the floor breaks everytime she takes a step. I kinda giggled, but then stopped as the door opened.

" Yes? What do you want. " His mom looked at me. 

'' Yes, hello, May I talk to Eddie please. '' I ask politely.

" Ugh.. EDDIE DEAR. YOUR FRIEND WANTS TO TALK TO YOU! " She called.

' WHAT??-- okay-- ' He comes up to the door. 

' Oh! Hey Richie, what are you doing here? '

'' I wanted to see if you'd like to hang out for a bit.. '' 

' I -- ' He looked at his mom, nodded quietly. ' No I gotta go get my refill. ' I grinned.

I got on my bike and Eddie came following me. We went downtown. He actually did get his refill, but then we sat on the curb and talked. I decided to ruin this moment by asking a dumb question. 

'' Eddie-- Why did you-- hold my hand?? '' Eddie looked at me and then down at the ground opposite side of me.

' I thought it would comfort you-- ' 

'' It did, but-- aren't you scared that the others saw?? '' Eddie looked back up at me.

' No, because I know they couldn't see in the dark movie theater.. ' I looked him in the eyes.

'' Well--- Thank you-- and-- '' I chuckled '' Was my shoulder comfy. '' 

Eddie's face went red. He turned and looks the opposite direction. I smiled. Suddenly, I had a idea.

'' Hey-- Eddie look-- '' The street was empty, and you could see through it, seeing the sunset. Eddie looked up at it. I could see him smile. I could feel my face warming up. We watched from the curb, as we couldn't go to far to where it'd take to long to get him back home. My hands were down on the curb. I suddenly felt his hand upon mine.

We both quickly removed our hands, turning away. 

'' Okay--- Maybe you should get home-- '' I looked back at him quietly. He nodded. 

' Okay-- well see you later.. ' We both got on our bikes, biking to our own separate houses. I got home, and my mom saw I was a little happy. 

" Whats got you so happy today Richie. " I smiled at her.

'' Oh I just hung out with some friends.. Me and Eddie were outside in front of the pharmacy after the movie. '' My mom smiled. 

' That little Eddie boy, you always seem so happy after you hang out with him. ' I looked at her with a little panic and then I smiled.

'' Well i'm gonna go up to my room.  '' I walk up to my room.

( Eddie P.O.V )

I make it home, I feel like my face is warm.. We touched hands again. 

' Mom! I'm home! ' I called.

" Why are you so late. " She asked me.

' Well I- hung out with R-- It took them a while to refill. ' She gave me a odd look.

" Mhm.. " 

She said something after that. It hurt my heart.
